Farid Hamed El Abdellaoui ( ar, link=no, فريد العبدلاوي, born 4 June 1986), known professionally as Farid Bang, is a German rapper of Moroccan-Spanish descent. He is currently the owner of the label Banger Musik. Early life Farid Bang was born in Melilla, Spain, and grew up in Málaga. At the age of eight, he moved to Düsseldorf, Germany with his mother and sister. His mother grew up in Germany and is of Moroccan descent, while his father is from Melilla, Spain. Bang has mentioned in songs that he is of Berber origin, while other times he has identified as Arab. Inspired by his friend Tekken, Bang started rapping at the age of 19 and, with the help of his friend Summer Cem, soon met Eko Fresh, who had already achieved a certain level of fame in Germany. ''Jung, brutal, gutaussehend'' ("Young, violent, handsome") is the first collaborative studio album by German rappers Kollegah and Farid Bang. It was released on 19 June 2009 through Selfmade Records. Two follow-ups, '' Jung, brutal, gutaussehend 2'' and '' 3'', were released in 2013 and 2017, respectively. Background Farid Bang explained after the release of his debut album '' Asphalt Massaka'' in 2008 that he won't record an album in 2009. Kollegah also confirmed not to record for his own. Patrick Losenský (born 3 April 1982), known professionally as Fler, is a German rapper and the CEO of Maskulin Music Group. Career 2000–2006: Beginnings Fler was first recognized in the rap scene through collaborations with Bushido. Robert Edward Davis (born 28 December 1979), better known by his stage name B-Tight, is an American-born German rapper. Early life Davis was born in Palm Springs, California, to a German mother and an African American father, but grew up in Berlin. When he was younger, he initially wanted to become a professional basketball player, however, a foot injury prevented him from doing so. Davis grew up in Märkisches Viertel in Berlin, where he also met his later roommate and rap partner Sido, with whom he formed the duo A.i.d.S and they began to write song lyrics. The group's beats were made on a PlayStation.
