Asian Poker Tour
The Asian Poker Tour (APT) was founded in 2008. To date, the APT has staged more than 80 major events and numerous smaller tournaments mainly in the Asia-Pacific Region. The tour has stopped at Philippines, Macau, South Korea, Cambodia, Vietnam, India, Australia, London, New Caledonia and Cambodia. APT events combined have generated over USD 30 Million in prize money all awarded to players. History and Tournaments 2008 The Asian Poker Tour (APT) was acquired by AsianLogic (AIM:ALOG) in early 2008. APT held its first tournament in May 2008 in Manila, Philippines. 2009 2010 In year 2010, the APT began its partnership with Resorts World Manila (RWM) which lasts until today. Texas Hold 'em
Texas hold 'em (also known as Texas holdem, hold 'em, and holdem) is one of the most popular variants of the card game of poker. Two cards, known as hole cards, are dealt face down to each player, and then five Community card poker, community cards are dealt face up in three stages. The stages consist of a series of three cards ("the flop"), later an additional single card ("the turn" or "fourth street"), and a final card ("the river" or "fifth street"). Each player seeks the best List of poker hands, five card poker hand from any combination of the seven cards; the five community cards and their two hole cards. Newport World Resorts (formerly Resorts World Manila) is an integrated resort, located in Newport City, opposite Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3, in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. King's Resort is a casino and resort located in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. The casino currently houses the largest poker room in Europe. History In 2002, art collector and poker player Leon Tsoukernik decided to open a casino. King's Casino Rozvadov opened on 26 June 2003. In 2015, its cooperation with the World Series of Poker (WSOP) started with a WSOP Circuit Event. King's Casino has hosted the WSOP Europe since 2017 (and will last until 2021, or potentially longer). In 2018, the King’s Casino was renamed to King's Resort.
