Asia's Next Top Model (season 5)
The fifth cycle of ''Asia's Next Top Model'' (subtitled as ''Asia's Next Top Model 5: Expect The Unexpected'') aired on April 5, 2017. Filming for cycle five took place in Singapore and Malaysia. Cindy Bishop and Yu Tsai returned as judges for panel this cycle, while Kelly Tandiono departed from the show, and was replaced by Cara G. McIlroy. The cycle featured 14 contestants: three each from Indonesia and the Philippines, two each from Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, and one each from Cambodia, Hong Kong, Laos, Taiwan and Vietnam. China, India, Japan, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, and South Korea were unrepresented. Taiwan marked its comeback after its absences from the two previous cycles. The prize package for this cycle included a Subaru Impreza, a cover and fashion spread in ''Nylon'' Singapore, and a modeling contract with Storm Model Management in London. ''It Girls'' is a feature documentary film directed by Robin Melanie Leacock that aired on the Women's Entertainment channel on April 2 and 7 2002. It features wealthy socialites including Casey Johnson, Elisabeth Kieselstein-Cord and Nicky Hilton, as well as appearances by Diane Von Furstenberg, Marisa Berenson and other women. It was filmed in Manhattan during New York Fashion Week. The film's premise is that anyone can be an it girl. In the documentary, von Furstenberg says "It's really about being a forever girl!" Critical response Roger Friedman, writing for Fox News, said that this was a "numbingly mesmerizing documentary" in which "You have rarely seen such a collection of vacuous and tiresome people". Sunway Lagoon is an amusement park located in Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia owned by Sunway Group. Paul Russell "Russ" Swift (born 24 March 1951) is a British driver who is known for performing stunts and for precision driving. Career Starting out as a rally co-driver, and later moving into the sport of Autotesting, Russ Swift has built his career on a sturdy motorsport foundation. After being asked to demonstrate his driving skills locally, Russ realised there could be a demand for precision driving skills to be displayed nationwide. Swift's driving skills were memorably put to the test in 1987, when he performed stunts in a crowded parking lot in an Austin Montego for a television advertisement. The close-ups were done by an actor, but Swift (uncredited) was responsible for the driving.
