Ashiquzzaman Tulu
Ashiquzzaman Tulu (born March 6, 1966) is a Bangladeshi singer, songwriter, musician, composer, lyricist, sound engineer and music director, who was the founder and leader of the popular Bangladeshi rock bands ARK and . He is recognized as a pioneering figure in the music scene of Bangladesh during the 1980s and 1990s. He was born in 1966 in Dhaka and comes from a musical family. After his father's death in 1973, Tulu began learning instruments like ''tabla'' and ''bongo''. He earned degrees in sociology and computer science. In the 1980s, Tulu composed Bangladesh's second ever audio cassette. In 1982/1983, he founded the rock band ''Chime'', serving as their composer and touring with them extensively before he left the band in 1987 after the success of their debut album that came out the same year. Shakila Sharma (born 28 February 1962), better known as ''Shakila Zafar'', is a Bangladeshi singer. Early life Shakila was born in Karachi, Pakistan. She grew up in Pakistan with her family. Her family belongs to Sirajganj District, Bangladesh. Her father was a government employee of Pakistan. He was assigned to the Industrial Development Bank of Pakistan. In 1970, Shakila came to Bangladesh and was admitted in the Willes Little Flower School. She followed this with graduation from Dhaka University, in philosophy. Feedback is a Bangladeshi rock band, formed in the month of October 1977 in Dhaka by keyboardist Foad Nasser Babu. Multiple lineup changes have taken place in membership since 1976. They have released seven studio albums and have also appeared in some compilations. History Their first appearance was in The Hotel Inter-continental (now the Sheraton), Dhaka, on 11 October 1976. Their first recorded song was "Aye Din Chiro Din Robey" in 1980. After joining of Labu Rahman with Feedback in 1987, they started concerts out of the hotels. They released their first album ''Feedback'' and then ''Sragam Acoustics''. Maqsoodul Haque (born 16 September 1957), also known as Mac Haque, is a Bangladeshi singer, poet and activist from the Assamese community in Bangladesh. He is the lead singer of his own band Maqsood O'Dhaka, which he formed in 1996. Syed Hasanur Rahman (born April 19, 1974) popularly known as Hasan, is a Bengali singer-songwriter and lead vocalist of the Bangladeshi popular Rock band ''Ark''.
