Asambhav (TV Series)
''Asambhav'' () is an Indian Marathi language TV serial which aired on Zee Marathi. The show starred Umesh Kamat and Urmila Kanetkar in lead roles. It was well received by the audience. It received various awards and gained popularity. It was popular mainly because of its genre. The serial is based on the popular concept of re-incarnation in Hindu culture. The drama revolved around the cast which were presented as the rebirths of the past life and the dramatic events that occurred in their lives. The serial's screenplay / writer was Chinmay Mandlekar and was directed by Satish Rajwade. The series premiered on 12 February 2007 from Monday to Friday at 8.30 pm by replacing ''Vadalvaat''. Umesh Kamat (born 12 December 1978) is an Indian actor and model, who predominantly works in Marathi regional films, Marathi television series, Marathi plays and TV commercials. He is known as a star of daily soaps with a series of great daily soaps in recent years. Some of his memorable roles are Adinath Shastri from ''Asambhav'', Nishad from ''Shubham Karoti''. ''Asambhav'' (translation: Impossible) is a 2004 Indian Hindi action thriller film directed by Rajiv Rai and produced by Gulshan Rai under Trimurti Films banner. It was released on 23 July 2004, starring Arjun Rampal, Naseeruddin Shah and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles with Dipannita Sharma, Tom Alter, Milind Gunaji and Sharat Saxena playing supporting roles among others. Ashwini Ekbote
Ashwini Ekbote (22 March 1972 – 22 October 2016) was an Indian theatre and screen actress and a classical dancer. She began her acting career in the Marathi theatre. Career Ekbote had done several Marathi plays and had been a part of many regional language based entertainment serials. Ashwini was actively involved in women empowerment and environmental issues. Kishor Kadam (born 9 November 1967) is an Indian actor and poet who has acted prominently in Marathi and Hindi movies. He has also acted in Tamil movies and has appeared in some television serials as well. He is a veteran Marathi poet, writing with his pseudonym Saumitra and well known for his poems in the album ''Garawa'' with Milind Ingle, all songs revolved on the topic of rain. Anand Abhyankar (2 June 1963 – 24 December 2012) was an Indian Marathi film, television and theatre actor. He starred in films such as ''Spandan'' (2012), ''Balgandharva'' (2011), ''Matichya Chuli'' (2006), ''Vaastav'' (1999) and ''Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain''.
