Artemy Troitsky
Artemy Kivovich Troitsky (; , born 16 June 1955 in Yaroslavl) is a Russian journalist, music critic, concert promoter, radio host, and academic who has lectured on music journalism at Moscow State University. "He is an anarchist, pacifist and one of the most prominent Russian Kremlin critics in the Baltic States. Journalist and music critic Artemy Troitsky is known for his impudence and sharpness," is how journalist Tigran Petrosyan describes him. He was born in Yaroslavl, then in the Soviet Union. In 1988, he was described in ''The New York Times'' as "the leading Soviet rock critic." In 1986, Troitsky was one of the organizers of the "Account No. 904" rock concert, modeled on Live Aid, to raise funds for the victims of the Chernobyl disaster, the first such concert in the Soviet Union. ''The Herald'' is a daily morning newspaper published in Rock Hill, South Carolina, in the United States. Its coverage is York, Chester, and Lancaster counties. Agatha Christie (russian: Агата Кристи) was a Soviet and Russian rock band. Formed in 1985 by Vadim Samoylov, Alexander Kozlov, and Peter Mai in Sverdlovsk. under the name VIA RTF UPI (Russian: ВИА РТФ УПИ) the band changed their name to Agatha Christie, after the detective fiction author, in 1988 and went on to become one of the most notable Russian rock acts in the mid to late 1990s. During the recording sessions for their debut album "Second Front", Vadim's younger brother, Gleb, became a full-time member of the band. The band lineup changed continuously since then, with the Samoylov brothers being bandleaders, swapping vocal duties. NEWSru.com was a Russian online news site, based in Moscow, which had a government-critical orientation. History NEWSru.com was originally launched in 2000 at the address ntv.ru. When the government took over the NTV network in 2000, with the network becoming part of OAO Gazprom Media, the site remained part of the media empire of former NTV owner, oligarch Vladimir Gusinsky. Yelena Bereznitskaya-Bruni replaced the initial Editor in Chief Igor Barchugov in 2001. In October 2002 the news site moved to another domain name, NEWSru.com and the original domain ntv.ru was transferred to the broadcasting company by mutual agreement. On May 31, 2021, the site announced it would discontinue its news reporting "for economic reasons, but ones caused specifically by the political situation in our country", but that the "entire archive accumulated over 21 years of work" would remain available. Shushenskoye ( rus, Шу́шенское, p=ˈʂuʂɨnskəjɛ) is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) and the administrative center of Shushensky District of Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia, located at the confluence of the Yenisei and Big Shush rivers. Zvuki Mu (russian: Зву́ки Му , roughly translated as "Sounds of Moo") was a Russian alternative rock/indie/post-punk band founded in Moscow in 1983. Lead singer and songwriter Pyotr Mamonov was one of the most revered and eccentric figures of the Russian art scene, whose absurdist lyrics are as playful and disturbing as his vocal style and explosive on-stage presence.
