Vidya Jyothi Professor, Senior Professor Arjuna Priyadarsin de Silva Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, MBBS, Master of Science, MSc, Doctor of Medicine, MD, Royal College of Physicians, FRCP (Lon) (born 13 June 1965) is a Sri Lankan Academic and Consultant Gastroenterologist. He is the Head of the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine University of Kelaniya and Chairman of the Sri Lanka Anti-Doping Agency (SLADA). De Silva practices as a Consultant Physician at Colombo North Teaching Hospital and is a Board Certified trainer in Gastroenterology in Sri Lanka. He is the Chairman of the Sri Lankan Board of Study in Gastroenterology, member of the Board of Study in Medicine and is a Council Member of the National Institute of Education, the governing body vested with the administration, management and control of the affairs of national education. The National Hospital of Sri Lanka (sometimes General Hospital) is a government hospital in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Founded in 1864 as the General Hospital, it is the leading hospital in Sri Lanka and is controlled by the central government. The hospital has 18 intensive care units and 21 operating theaters and 3,404 beds. It employs 7,500 staff of which 1,500 are doctors. Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP(UK)) is a postgraduate medical diploma in the United Kingdom (UK). The examinations are run by the Federation of the Medical Royal Colleges – the Royal College of Physicians of London, the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. The Radcliffe Infirmary was a hospital in central north Oxford, England, located at the southern end of Woodstock Road on the western side, backing onto Walton Street.
