Argentine Motorcycle Grand Prix
The Argentine Republic motorcycle Grand Prix is the Argentine round of the FIM Grand Prix motorcycle racing championship. The Grand Prix returned in 2014 with a race at Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo. Previously, the event was held ten times at the Autódromo Oscar Alfredo Gálvez in the capital city of Buenos Aires between 1961 and 1999 and was known as the Argentine motorcycle Grand Prix. The event is due to take place at the Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo until at least 2025. Termas De Río Hondo
Termas de Río Hondo is a spa city in Santiago del Estero Province, Argentina. It has 27,838 inhabitants as per the . It is located on the banks of the Dulce River, 65 km north of the provincial capital Santiago del Estero, near the artificial Río Hondo Lake. The hot springs (Spanish: ''termas'', Quechua: ''yacu rupaj'') of the area have a temperature of over 30 °C (86 °F), and have made the town a popular spa resort for Argentines, who enjoy the waters recommended against high blood pressure and rheumatism. Two public pools, ''La Olla'' and the ''Pileta Municipal'', are near the town centre, along with many well-regarded hotels and restaurants. Celestino Vietti Ramus (born 13 October 2001) is an Italian motorcycle rider competing in Moto2 for Mooney VR46 Racing Team. He is also a member of Valentino Rossi's VR46 Academy. Career Junior career In 2018 he competed full-time in the 2018 FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship, scoring a second place in Barcelona, and finishing the season 10th overall, with 52 points. Gas Gas
Gas Gas is a Spanish motorcycle manufacturer established in 1985 by Narcìs Casas and Josep Pibernat in Salt, Girona. The company specializes in off-road motorcycles for trials and enduro competitions. Gas Gas was purchased by KTM motorcycles in 2019. After the sale to KTM, Gas Gas's off-road models were purchased by Spanish motorcycle manufacturer Rieju. Company history In 1973, Narcìs Casas and Josep Pibernat began operating a Bultaco motorcycle franchise in Salt. With the financial demise of the Bultaco factory in 1979, Casas and Pibernat began importing Italian SWM motorcycles until 1984 when, the manufacturer ceased operations. Casas and Pibernat then embarked on a programme to manufacture trial motorbikes for sale in their shop. Sergio García Dols (born 22 March 2003) is a Spanish motorcycle rider, currently competing in Moto3 with GasGas Aspar Team. He comes from Burriana in the Valencian Community. Matchless
Matchless is one of the oldest marques of British motorcycles, manufactured in Plumstead, London, between 1899 and 1966. A wide range of models were produced under the Matchless name, ranging from small two-strokes to 750 cc Four-stroke cycle, four-stroke twins.
