Arabellapark
Arabellapark is a residential and commercial area in the Bogenhausen district of Munich, Germany, which was developed with the construction of multiple buildings from 1965 to 1998. It is one of the largest urban expansion projects of the period after World War II in Munich. It takes its name from the Arabellastrasse, which runs through the project site. Location and Construction Arabellapark is located in the east of Munich, and is surrounded by 4 major roads. Richard-Strauss-Strasse, part of the Mittlerer Ring (Central Ring), forms the western border, Englschalkinger Strasse the north, Vollmannstrasse the east and Denningerstrasse the south. Munich U-Bahn
The Munich U-Bahn (german: U-Bahn München) is an electric rail rapid transit network in Munich, Germany. The system began operation in 1971, and is operated by the municipally owned Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft (MVG; Munich Transport Company). The network is integrated into the Münchner Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund (MVV; Munich Transport and Tariff Association) and interconnected with the Munich S-Bahn. The U-Bahn currently comprises eight lines, serving 96 stations (100 stations if four interchange stations with separate levels for different lines are counted twice), and encompassing of routes. Arabellapark (Munich U-Bahn)
Arabellapark is a Munich U-Bahn station in Bogenhausen borough. It is the eastern terminus of the U4. Arabellapark station is located in the Arabellapark district of Bogenhausen, a large housing and commercial district developed during the 1970s. Arabellapark station serves as an important bus interchange station for buses servicing Bogenhausen. It is the terminus of bus lines 183, 184, 185 and 187. Extension plans There are plans to extend the U4 from Arabellapark towards Englschalking S-Bahn station in the eastern quarter of Bogenhausen. However, these plans have been put on hold due to budget restraints. Bogenhausen (Central Bavarian: ''Bognhausn'') is the 13th borough of Munich, Germany. It is the geographically largest borough of Munich and comprises the city's north-eastern quarter, reaching from the Isar on the eastern side of the Englischer Garten to the city limits, bordering on Unterföhring to the north, Aschheim to the east and the Haidhausen borough to the south. Mae West Effnerplatz
Mae is an American rock band that formed in Norfolk, Virginia in 2001. The band's name is an acronym for "Multi-sensory Aesthetic Experience", based on a course taken by drummer Jacob Marshall while a student at Old Dominion University. History Early years with Tooth and Nail (2001–2006) Jacob Marshall and Dave Elkins began what would become Mae by writing their first song, "Embers and Envelopes", in Marshall's living room. The band signed with Tooth and Nail Records and released their first album, '' Destination: Beautiful'', in 2003. They released their second full-length album, ''The Everglow'', in 2005.
