Apache Ness
Ernest Brown, better known as The Apache Ness, Apache Ness or Ness and The Sensationals (Ness y Los Sensacionales), is a Panamanian musician of Reggae en Español. He was born in the province of Colon, Republic of Panama, to parents Claudia Brown and Brown Sr. History In June 1971, he formed a group called El Colón Sensacional (The sensational Colón), together with his brothers Kely, Lopy and Lele, whose music was of the genre Reggae en Español. Years later, the public began to call them Ness y Los Sensacionales (Ness and The Sensationals), which the group then changed name to. In 1981, Ness recalled his childhood nickname and took the name of Apache Ness. In 1987, an opportunity arose to make a record that would lead him to stardom. Machete Music is an urban music label owned by Universal Music Group. The record label had been largely associated with reggaeton music, but in recent years, it has been also been signing non-reggaeton artists such as Malverde, Mala Rodriguez and Chino XL. The label is part of Universal Music Latin Entertainment. Machete Music is one of the most prevalent labels in the Reggaeton genre. Edgardo Armando Franco (born 27 September 1969), better known as El General, is a Panamanian former reggae artist considered by some to be one of the fathers of "Reggae en Español". During the early 1990s, he was one of the artists who initiated the Spanish-language dancehall variety of reggae music. Early examples of this were the international and somewhat mainstream songs, "Te Ves Buena" and "Tu Pum Pum". “Tu Pum Pum" emerged after a friend of El General invited him to collaborate with a Jamaican producer that was searching for a “different sound in Panama."
