''Anx'' (short for "anxiety") is a studio album by American hip hop duo Dark Time Sunshine. It was released by Fake Four Inc. on July 24, 2012. It features guest appearances from the likes of P.O.S, Aesop Rock, and Busdriver. Music videos were created for "Never Cry Wolf", "Valiant", and "Take My Hand". Critical reception Charles Mudede of '' The Stranger'' gave the album a favorable review, calling it "a masterpiece". Dark Time Sunshine (abbreviated as DTS) is an American hip hop duo, consisting of Seattle rapper Onry Ozzborn and Chicago producer Zavala. The group is signed to Fake Four Inc. History Dark Time Sunshine was formed in 2009 when Onry Ozzborn met Zavala through Onry's fellow Oldominion member, Sleep. The group has been described as the combination of Zavala's experimental electronic and soulful production and Onry Ozzborn's insightful storytelling and multi-syllabic and internal rhymes. The group released ''Believeyoume'' for free download in 2009, then ''Vessel'' and ''Conucopia'' in 2010. In 2012, the group released a studio album, ''Anx''. Julio Francisco "Ceschi" Ramos (born July 24, 1981), better known as Ceschi Ramos, or simply as Ceschi (pronounced "chess-key"), is an American hip hop musician based in New Haven, Connecticut. He is a co-founder of Fake Four Inc. He won the Connecticut Music Awards for Best Hip Hop in 2014. Life and career Ceschi released his first solo album, ''Fake Flowers'', in 2004. ''They Hate Francisco False'' followed in 2006. In 2008, Ceschi and his brother David Ramos founded the record label Fake Four Inc. In 2010, Ceschi was arrested and pleaded guilty to a 100-pound marijuana shipment that he accepted at the home of his grandfather in New Haven. Ceschi released ''The One Man Band Broke Up'', a collaborative album with German producer DJ Scientist, in July 2010. Regan Farquhar (born February 12, 1978), better known by his stage name Busdriver, is an American rapper and producer from Los Angeles, California. He has collaborated with rappers such as Myka 9, Milo, Nocando, Open Mike Eagle, 2Mex, and Radioinactive. His primary producers have been Daedelus, Boom Bip, Daddy Kev, Loden, Paris Zax, Omid, and Nobody. He has also worked with D-Styles on two albums. Alexander Zavala, better known mononymously by his stage name Zavala, is an American hip hop and electronica record producer from Chicago, Illinois. He is a founding member of the hip hop duo Dark Time Sunshine alongside Onry Ozzborn. Musical career Zavala first came to attention in 2009 when he released the collaborative album ''Canciones Modernas'' with PNS of Molemen. The same year, he produced numerous tracks on Sleep's album Hesitation Wounds, his debut on Strange Famous Records. Through working with Sleep, he met Onry Ozzborn, who featured on ''Hesitation Wounds'' as Grayskul. The two soon became fans of each other's work and began working with each other, eventually leading to the creation of the duo Dark Time Sunshine. Child Actor is an American duo consisting of Max Heath and Natalie Plaza. History Child Actor was formed by cousins Max Heath and Sedgie Ogilvy. They released the ''Partner'' EP in February 2012 and the ''Window'' EP in July 2012. Their first album, ''Victory'', was released on Fake Four Inc. on October 16, 2012. Solillaquists of Sound, often shortened to Solilla, is an American hip-hop quartet based in Orlando, Florida. Its line up currently consists of MCs Alexandrah and Swamburger, poet Tonya Combs and producer/composer Divinci. Solillaquists utilize elements of melody and harmony in their vocals. Fake Four Inc
Fake Four is an independent record label based in New Haven, Connecticut. It was founded by brothers Ceschi and David Ramos in 2008. According to an interview with Ceschi on Ugsmag.com, the Ramos brothers started Fake Four with help from Grimm Image Records in San Bernardino, California and Squids Eye Recording Collective in Dayton, Ohio as an outlet to release and distribute their personal music projects and those of their friends. Since the initial release ''This Up Here'' by David Ramos, Fake Four Inc. has been a self-sufficient label. Style Fake Four Inc. does not adhere to genre specifications.
