António José Cardoso de Oliveira (born 9 October 1982), sometimes known as Toni, is a Portuguese Association football, football Manager (association football), manager and former player who played as a Defender (association football)#Centre-back, central defender. He is the current head coach of Brazilian club Coritiba Foot Ball Club, Coritiba. Playing career Born in Lisbon, Toni was a S.L. Benfica youth graduate. He made his senior debut with S.L. Benfica B, the reserves in the 2001–02 Segunda Divisão B, 2001–02 season, in Portuguese Second Division, Segunda Divisão B. In July 2004, after a one-year spell at S.C. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time. Bruno Amorim Lazaroni (born 13 September 1980) is a Brazilian retired football coach and former player who played as a defensive midfielder. Playing career Lazaroni was born in Rio de Janeiro, and represented Flamengo as a youth. A forward, he left the club in 2000 after making no appearances, and subsequently joined Bangu, where he was converted into a defensive midfielder. In 2002, after impressing for Bangu, Lazaroni joined Vasco da Gama, but featured sparingly for the club. In 2004, after a one-year spell at Swiss club St. Gallen (where he also appeared rarely), he returned to Bangu.
