Antonia Ramel
Antonia Ramel (born 2 July 1985, Bettna) is a Swedish equestrian athlete. She competed at the 2019 European Championships in Rotterdam where she won team bronze with the Swedish dressage team. Her younger sister Juliette Ramel competed at the Rio Olympics in 2016. Together they were in the bronze-winning team in Rotterdam. Ramel was part of the Swedish team during the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, after Patrik Kittel withdrew from the competition due an injury of his horse Well Done de la Rouche. Ramel finished 35th in the individual competition and 6th with the team. Bettna
Bettna is a locality situated in Flen Municipality, Södermanland County, Sweden with 412 inhabitants in 2010. It is also a parish with the same name. Bettna is located at a similar distance from Flen, Katrineholm and Nyköping (20-30 km) and about from the nearest village of Vrena across the Nyköping municipal line. The boundary goes a few hundred metres from the village entrance by national road 52. The topography around the village is generally flat with occasional rolling hills and little elevation is covered when travelling to either of the three nearby municipal centres. It lies at roughly above sea level. Bettna is also adjacent to the lake Yngaren and also has other lakes in its vicinity. The oldest part of the church was built in the 12th century. Its organ was approved by the Swedish king Gustaf III shortly before his assassination in 1792. The organ was reconstructed in 1988. Patrik Kittel (born 10 June 1976 in Österåker, Sweden) is a Swedish horse rider. He was born in Stockholm. He competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he placed fourth in team dressage. At the 2012 Summer Olympics he competed in the team dressage events and qualified for the Grand Prix Special and Grand Prix Freestyle, finishing 14th. European Dressage Championship
The European Dressage Championships are the European championships for the equestrian discipline of dressage. They are held every two years in odd-numbered years. Gold, silver, and bronze medals are awarded in both individual and team competitions. There are also championships held for juniors, young riders, and ponies. Since 2015, the competition has shared a site and branding with vaulting, reining, jumping, and driving events.
