Aniuar Borisovich Geduev (russian: Аниуар Борисович Гедуев, ; born 26 January 1987) is a Russians, Russian freestyle wrestler of Circassians, Circassian Kabardians, Kabardian ancestry. Career Geduev competed in the 74 kg division at the 2013 European Wrestling Championships and the 2014 European Wrestling Championships, winning gold medals in both competitions. In the gold-medal match at the Wrestling at the 2015 European Games, 2015 European Games he defeated Soner Demirtaş of Turkey by technical fall (10–0). Geduev claimed his first world medal later that year, winning bronze at the 2015 World Wrestling Championships, World Wrestling Championships in 2015. In the rematch of the 2016 Russian National Freestyle Wrestling Championships, 2016 Russian Nationals, he beat the three-time world champion Denis Tsargush and won the Olympic Team Trials. The Kabardians ( Highland Adyghe: Къэбэрдей адыгэхэр; Lowland Adyghe: Къэбэртай адыгэхэр; russian: Кабардинцы) or Kabardinians are one of the twelve major Circassian tribes, representing one of the twelve stars on the green-and-gold Circassian flag. Bekzod Abdurakhmonov
Bekzod Makhamadzhonovich Abdurakhmonov (russian: Бекзод Махамаджонович Абдурахмонов; born 15 March 1990) is an Uzbekistani freestyle wrestler and mixed martial artist. He won the gold medal at the 2014 Asian Games in the Men's 70 kg Freestyle wrestling. At the 2016 Olympics he beat former gold medalist Jordan Burroughs of the United States 11-1, but lost in the bronze-medal match to Jabrayil Hasanov of Azerbaijan. He won one of the bronze medals in the men's 74 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan. In 2017, he won the gold medal in the men's 74 kg event at the 2017 Asian Wrestling Championships in New Delhi, India. In the final he defeated Muslim Evloev of Kyrgyzstan. Denís Tsargúsh ( ab, Дени́с Царгәы́ш, IPA /dɛˈnis t͡sʰɑrˈgʷɨʂ/, born 1 September 1987 in Gudauta, Abkhazia, Georgia, also known as Dinislam Tsargush, is a Russian freestyle wrestler of Abkhaz descent. 2016 Russian National Freestyle Wrestling Championships
The Russian National Freestyle Wrestling Championships 2016 were held in Yakutsk, Sakha-Yakutia, Russia in the Triumph Arena from 27 to 29 May 2016. Incident between Lebedev and Musukaev At the end of the 57 kg quarterfinal wrestling match between Lebedev and Musukaev the referees awarded the victory to Viktor Lebedev. However, after the match the Russian Championships wrestling commission considered mistakes of the referee and awarded the victory to Ismail Musukaev (4-2). Even so, Lebedev remained in the semifinals. After the incident, the Dagestani team walked out, along with others, including many members of Chechen team. In the 57 kg final, following another controversial victory for Lebedev over Aleksandr Bogomoev, the commission decided award gold medals to both. Soner Demirtaş (born 25 June 1991) is a Turkish freestyle wrestler who competes in the 74 kg division. He won the European title in 2016, 2017 and 2018. He was bronze medalist at the Rio Olympics. He is a member of the Ankara ASKI. Personal life Soner Demirtaş was born to a butcher father as the third son of five in Çat village of Tokat on 25 June 1991. He is a student of physical education and sports at Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University in Karaman. His three brothers are also sport wrestlers. Freestyle wrestling is a style of wrestling originated from Great Britain and the United States. Along with Greco-Roman, it is one of the two styles of wrestling contested in the Olympic Games. American high school and men's college wrestling is conducted under different rules and is termed scholastic and collegiate wrestling. Wrestling World Cup is an international wrestling competition among teams representing member nations of the United World Wrestling (UWW) the sport's global governing body. The cups have been conducted by FILA (the UWW predecessor) every year since the 1973 tournament. The World Cup began as a dual-meet competition for the top teams on each continent, but now features the top teams in the rankings of the previous year's world championships.
