Angora Loop (SEPTA Station)
61st Street station is a SEPTA trolley stop in Philadelphia. It is located in the Angora neighborhood near where Baltimore Avenue (US 13) crosses Cobbs Creek into Delaware County. It is the western terminus of the SEPTA subway–surface trolley lines route 34. Trolleys run from here to Center City Philadelphia. The trolley tracks in the station form a loop, nicknamed the Angora Loop, so that trains can enter westbound and depart eastbound. The loop circles around a Caribbean barbecue restaurant; it is across US 13 from a local playground as well as the Cobbs Creek Trail across 61st Street. Angora is a neighborhood in the Southwest section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. Although its boundaries are not precise, West Philadelphia is to its north, Kingsessing is to the south, Cedar Park is to the east, and Cobbs Creek is to the west. Baltimore Pike
The Baltimore Pike was an auto trail connecting Baltimore, Maryland, with Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Today, parts of the road are signed as U.S. Route 1 (US 1), US 13, and a small portion of Pennsylvania Route 41 (PA 41). A section of the road within the city limits of Philadelphia and surrounding boroughs is known as Baltimore Avenue, although locals are known to call the Delaware County portion "Baltimore Pike". In suburbs farther west, some sections retain the formal name "Baltimore Pike."
