André Harvey (MP)
André Harvey, PC (born September 16, 1941) is a Canadian consultant, politician and former teacher in Quebec, Canada. Career Harvey was first elected to the House of Commons of Canada in the 1984 general election that brought Brian Mulroney to power. The Progressive Conservative Member of Parliament (MP) for Chicoutimi, Quebec remained a backbencher until January 1993 when he became parliamentary secretary to Prime Minister Mulroney. When Kim Campbell succeeded Mulroney as PC leader and prime minister, Harvey became parliamentary secretary to the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development. Harvey and the Campbell government were defeated in the 1993 election. He returned to parliament as a PC MP in the 1997 general election by retaking Chicoutimi from the Bloc Québécois. Jean Chrétien
Joseph Jacques Jean Chrétien (; born January 11, 1934) is a Canadian lawyer and politician who served as the 20th prime minister of Canada from 1993 to 2003. Born and raised in Shawinigan Falls, Quebec, Chrétien is a law graduate from Université Laval. A Liberal, he was first elected to the House of Commons in 1963. Chicoutimi—Le Fjord (formerly known as Chicoutimi) is a federal electoral district in Quebec, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada since 1925. The riding consists of the northern part of the Chicoutimi borough of Saguenay, as well as the La Baie borough and the municipalities of Ferland-et-Boilleau, L'Anse-Saint-Jean, Petit-Saguenay, Rivière-Éternité and Saint-Félix-d'Otis and the unorganized territory of Lalemant. Charles Joseph Clark (born June 5, 1939) is a Canadian statesman, businessman, writer, and politician who served as the 16th prime minister of Canada from 1979 to 1980. Despite his relative inexperience, Clark rose quickly in federal politics, entering the House of Commons in the 1972 election and winning the leadership of the Progressive Conservative Party in 1976. He won a minority government in the 1979 election, defeating the Liberal government of Pierre Trudeau and ending sixteen years of continuous Liberal rule. John James "Jean" Charest (; born June 24, 1958) is a Canadian lawyer and former politician who served as the 29th premier of Quebec from 2003 to 2012 and the fifth deputy prime minister of Canada in 1993.
