Andriy Danylko
Andriy Mykhailovych Danylko ( uk, Андрі́й Миха́йлович Дани́лко; born 2 October 1973), better known as his drag persona Verka Serduchka ( uk, Вє́рка Сердю́чка, links=no, ; russian: Ве́рка Сердю́чка, links=no), is a Ukrainian comedian, actor, and singer. He represented Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 as Verka, finishing in second place. He has sold over 600,000 records. He has appeared in films, most notably a cameo as Verka in the American comedy film ''Spy'' (2015). Early life Andriy Mykhailovych Danylko was born to a working-class family in Poltava on 2 October 1973. His mother, Svitlana Volkova, came from the noble Khomentovsky family, who were friends with the artist Ilya Repin. In 1980, at the age of seven, he lost his father to lung cancer. Andriy Ihorovych Bondarenko (born 22 June 1978 in Brovary) is a Ukrainian composer and pianist. Early life Bondarenko received his musical education at the Lysenko Special Music school in Kyiv, and at the National Musical Academy of Ukraine. Career Bondarenko won prizes in Rachmaninov (Tambov, Russia, 1996), Horovitz (Kyiv, 1997), Lysenko (Kyiv, 1997) international competitions. He collaborates with the “New music in Ukraine” ensemble. He played at festivals KyivMusicFest, Two Days and Two Nights of New Music. Andriy Atanasovych Melnyk
Andriy Atanasovich Melnyk ( uk, Андрій Атанасович Ме́льник; 12 December 1890 – 1 November 1964) was a Ukrainian military and political leader. Life Melnyk was born near Drohobych, Halychyna, into a peasant family. Between 1912 and 1914 he studied at the Higher School of Agriculture in Vienna. With the outbreak of the First World War, Melnyk served as an officer in the Austro-Hungarian army as a volunteer commanding a company of the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen. Andriy Bachynskyi ( uk, Андрій Бачинський, hu, Bacsinszky András; 11 November 1732 – 19 November 1809) was a Ruthenian Greek Catholic hierarch. He was bishop of the Ruthenian Catholic Eparchy of Mukacheve from 1773 to 1809. Andrij Dobriansky ( uk, Андрій Добрянський; September 2, 1930February 1, 2012) was a principal artist with the Metropolitan Opera for 30 years where he sang over 60 roles in over 900 performances.
