Andrew Thomson (kickboxer)
Andrew "Iceberg" Thomson, (born 7 April 1974), is a retired South African kickboxer. Biography and career Thompson was born in East London, South Africa in 1974. Although he played several sports when he was a young boy, he was most interested in body building and martial arts. He studied karate, kickboxing, Muay Thai, kung fu, and boxing. After graduation he was conscripted into the South African army, where he qualified as a parachutist and a sanitation engineer. After he moved from East London to Cape Town, he joined Steve's Gym, and he participated in K-1 from 1998 to 2003. He won several K-1 events. He competed in Enfusion Kickboxing Tournament '13 where he defeated Mate Paulovics on 12 September 2013 in tournament's 1st round. He won by 1st-round TKO after 1 min. and 32 sec and withdraw from the tournament. Mike Bernardo
Michael Shawn Bernardo (28 July 1969 – 14 February 2012) was a South African kickboxer and boxer from Cape Town. Bernardo was known as Beru-chan in Japan, where he has taken part in K-1 World GPs since 1994. He holds notable wins over Mirko Cro Cop, Andy Hug, Francisco Filho, Branko Cikatic, Stan Longinidis, Gary Goodridge and three consecutive wins over K-1 legend Peter Aerts. Cyril Abidi
Cyril Abidi (born February 25, 1976), nicknamed "The Marseille Bad Boy", is a French former heavyweight kickboxer and mixed martial artist. A professional competitor from 1998 until 2007, he is perhaps best remembered for his upset first-round knockout win over Peter Aerts, which he followed up with another win in the rematch a month later. Abidi also defeated K-1 standouts Ray Sefo and Petar Majstorovic. Background Abidi grew up in the north ''quartiers'' of Marseille (Consolat), in a modest Tunisian family. When he was 6, his mother took him to judo classes to keep him off the streets. Alexey Ignashov
Alexey Victoravich Ignashov ( be, Аляксей Ігнашоў; born 18 January 1978) is a Belarusian Heavyweight kickboxer. He is a four-time Muay Thai World champion, K-1 World GP 2003 in Paris and K-1 World GP 2001 in Nagoya tournament champion. As of 2011 he is living in Auckland, New Zealand and training at Balmoral Lee Gar Gym under Lollo Heimuli. Biography He is best known for his knee strikes, notably used to score knockout wins over Badr Hari, Semmy Schilt, Nicholas Pettas, and Carter Williams. Ignashov is considered by his fans to be one of the most talented and technically sound heavyweight kickboxers in the world. Ko Samui
Ko Samui (or Koh Samui, also often locally shortened to Samui; th, เกาะสมุย, ) is an island off the east coast of Thailand. Enfusion is a Dutch kickboxing promotion company based in Alkmaar, Netherlands. It produces events worldwide, which showcase twelve kickboxing weight classes (7 male and 5 female). Enfusion held its first event in 2013 in the Zwembad Sporthal in Zwevegem, Belgium.
