Andrew Holbrook
Andrew Holbrook (born February 6, 1986) is an American mixed martial artist and the former Colosseum Combat lightweight champion. He competed in the Lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Background Holbrook started wrestling and running track when he was in middle school in Adrian, Michigan. He believes that the mental toughness served an important factor in fighting which he was well-trained in this department by his middle school wrestling coach Jim Waters. He started training MMA after he had his hands in a few fights. Besides training at IBG in Indiana, he also has trained at Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket Island, Thailand. Adrian, Michigan
Adrian is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan and the county seat of Lenawee County. The population was 20,645 at the 2020 census. Adrian lies in Michigan's 7th congressional district. History Adrian was founded on June 18, 1826 by Addison Comstock. The original name for the village was Logan, but was changed soon after to Adrian, perhaps in reference to the Roman emperor Hadrian. The first operating railroad in Michigan was a horse-drawn train running between Adrian and Toledo in 1836. Adrian grew quickly, with the sixth largest population in the state when Michigan was admitted to the Union in 1837, and the third largest population in the state by 1860. Underground Railroad Evangelical and Hicksite Quakers in Southeast Michigan founded the first congregation of Quakers in Michigan in 1831.
