Anderson Vieira Martins (born 21 August 1987) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for CSA. Club career Born in Fortaleza, capital of Ceará state, Anderson Martins started his career with Bahia club Vitória. In December 2003 he signed a three-year contract and extended in March 2006 and in August 2007. He made his Brazilian Série B debut on 7 August 2007, at that time already known as Anderson Martins to disambiguate with teammates Anderson Ferreira and Anderson Rodrigues. The team promoted to 2008 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A as the fourth place. He played 3 more seasons for Vitória, winning 2008 to 2010 Campeonato Baiano and 2010 Campeonato do Nordeste. In December 2010 he was signed by Traffic Group as an investment (through subsidiary Desportivo Brasil) and loaned to Vasco da Gama in four-year deal. The 2008 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A was the 52nd edition of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. It began on May 8 and ended on December 7. Campeonato Brasileiro Série C
The Campeonato Brasileiro Série C is the third tier of the Brazilian football league system. Unlike the first and second divisions, the Série C is not played in a double round robin system, arguably because many participating teams lack the financial conditions to travel long distances. Thus, the tournament is organized in regional groups and the table prevents teams from distant states from playing each other in the initial rounds. Until 2008, any professional team could apply, but only 64 teams would take part in the tournament. The teams that had been relegated from the Série B in the previous year were joined by teams qualified for each federation state.
