Anant Tare
Anant Tare (1953/4 – 22 February 2021) was an Indian politician and leader of Shiv Sena from Thane and former Mayor of Thane, Maharashtra. He was member of Maharashtra Legislative Council from 2000 to 2006. He was former Mayor of Thane Municipal Corporation. He belonged to the Koli community of Maharashtra. He died on 22 February 2021. The Maharashtra Vidhan Parishad or Maharashtra Legislative Council is the upper house of the bicameral legislature of Maharashtra states and territories of India, state in western India. Palghar District (Marathi pronunciation: aːlɡʱəɾ is a district in the state of Maharashtra in Konkan Division. On 1 Aug 2014, the State government of Maharashtra announced the formation of the 36th district of Maharashtra Palghar, it was partitioned out of the Thane district. Palghar District starts from Dahanu at the north and ends at Naigaon. It comprises the talukas of Palghar, Vada, Vikramgad, Jawhar, Mokhada, Dahanu, Talasari and Vasai.
