Ampang District
Ampang District was a district in Malaysia that was split into sections, with Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and the state of Selangor each taking a part. Administration Initially under Selangor jurisdiction, the district was split following the declaration of Kuala Lumpur as a Federal Territory in 1974. The township of Ampang is located in the Federal Territory side and is an eastern suburb of Kuala Lumpur. The district is now divided into two parts: * Ampang, Selangor, the Selangor segment of Ampang, also known as Ampang Jaya. * Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, the Kuala Lumpur segment of Ampang, alternately known as ''Ampang Hilir''. Pandan Indah ( Jawi: ڤندان اينده; ) is a major township in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located between Ampang proper and Cheras. Pandan Indah has the basic facilities of a modern Malaysian township - it has a police station, a fire station, a primary and a secondary school and two neighbourhood shopping malls - ''Pandan Kapital'' and ''Mid-Point Shopping Complex''. MRR2
Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2 or Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 Scheme), Federal Route 28, is a ring road built by the Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR) to connect neighborhoods near the boundary of Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Altogether, the of the entire system consists of Federal Route 28, Damansara–Puchong Expressway (from Sri Damansara Interchange to Sunway Interchange) and Shah Alam Expressway (from Sunway Interchange to Sri Petaling Interchange). However, the Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 is generally referred to as Route 28 since Route 28 occupies about two-thirds of the system. Route background The zeroth kilometre of the Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 is located at Sri Damansara Interchange. Sungai Besi
Sungai Besi (formerly known as ''Sungei Besi'') (English: Steel River) is a town and suburb within the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur. It was also a federal constituency in Kuala Lumpur from 1974 to 1995. Sungai Besi was a historical mining town with many heavy industries such as steelworks, waste steel plants and other steel industries. Sungei Besi Tin Mine site was the largest and deepest open cast alluvial tin mine in the world and in Malaysia. The town has since developed from a large area of village settlements. Background and progress The town is still in its original settings. The village structures are from the early days of the town. Most of the buildings are built from wood and the pathways are narrow. There is also a modest century-old Chinese temple ( 仙四師爺廟(新街場) ) which is founded in 1901 inside the town area. Besraya Expressway
The Sungai Besi Expressway (Expressway 9, E9) is a controlled-access highway in the Klang Valley region of Peninsular Malaysia. The expressway runs between Serdang and Ampang, Selangor through southeastern Kuala Lumpur, parallel and directly adjacent to the North–South Expressway and the Kuala Lumpur–Seremban Expressway. Route background The expressway begins at Serdang on the outskirts of Universiti Putra Malaysia, where it continues from the Kajang Dispersal Link Expressway. The expressway then runs northwards immediately east of the North–South Expressway through Seri Kembangan into Sungai Besi. The expressway continues alongside the Kuala Lumpur–Seremban Expressway, running through Bandar Tasik Selatan, Kuchai Lama, Salak South and Cheras. The expressway then diverts northeastwards to Pandan Jaya and Pandan Indah in Ampang, where it terminates. MRT Circle Line
The MRT 3, MRT Line 3 or MRT Circle Line is a proposed thirteenth rail transit line, the third Mass Rapid Transit line and the fourth fully automated and driverless rail system in the Klang Valley, Malaysia. Once completed, this line would form the loop line of the Klang Valley Integrated Transit System. The director of this project is currently Tuan Haji Mohd Yusof Kasiron. The circle line will be numbered . It is one of three planned mass rapid transit (MRT) rail lines under the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit Project by MRT Corp. The MRT Circle Line is expected to form a ''loop line'' circling but not entering Kuala Lumpur's central business district, while linking up the radial rail lines.
