Amel Bent
Amel Bent Bachir ( ar, آمال بنت بشير; born 21 June 1985) is a French R&B and pop singer who gained fame after reaching the semi-finals of season 2 of French TV singing competition ''Nouvelle Star''. She is best-selling artist to come from that competition. She is currently a "coach" on the similar French talent show '' The Voice: la plus belle voix''. Biography Amel Bent grew up in the Paris suburb of La Courneuve with her Algerian father and Moroccan mother. She has a brother and a sister. Her career jump started after making it to the semi-finals of the reality TV show '' Nouvelle Star 2'', France's version of Pop Idol. Although her performance did not make it to the finals, she was still noticed by some of the show's producers, and would end up making her début album later that year, titled: ''Un Jour d'été'', released in late 2004. Saïd M'Roumbaba (; born 14 January 1979), better known by his stage name Soprano, is a French Comorian rapper, singer and songwriter. He is a part of the rap group Psy 4 de la Rime. After leaving the group to make his first solo album. He recorded his solo debut ''Puisqu'il Faut Vivre'' which made the ''Billboard'' European Top 100. He returned in 2010 with a new solo album called ''La Colombe'', which included collaborations with numerous artists such as Indila and Amadou & Mariam. Mélanie Georgiades (; born 25 July 1980 in Nicosia), better known by her stage name Diam's (), is a French rapper of Greek Cypriot origin. Biography Mélanie Marie Georgiades was born on July 25, 1980 in Nicosia, capital of Cyprus. Her mother is French and her father is Greek Cypriot. "Eye of the Tiger" is a song by American rock band Survivor. It was released as a single from their third album of the same name and was also the theme song for the 1982 film ''Rocky III'', which was released a day before the single. The song was written by Survivor guitarist Frankie Sullivan and keyboardist Jim Peterik, and it was recorded at the request of ''Rocky III'' star, writer, and director Sylvester Stallone, after Queen denied him permission to use " Another One Bites the Dust", the song Stallone intended as the ''Rocky III'' theme. The version of the song that appears in the film is the demo version of the song. The film version also contained tiger growls, which did not appear on the album version. Charlotte Bendaoud (; born 14 March 1983), known by her stage name Vitaa (), is a French singer-songwriter. Biography Vitaa was discovered by DJ Kost, who paired her with Dadoo in a duet . Camélia Jordana Aliouane (born 15 September 1992) is a French-Algerian pop singer. She rose to fame after participating in the television show ''Nouvelle Star'', the French version of ''Pop Idol'', in 2009, where she came in third.
