Alpina B4
The Alpina B4 and Alpina D4 are high-performance compact executive cars manufactured by the German automobile manufacturer, Alpina. Based on the BMW 4 Series, the B4 and D4 are manufactured in coupé and convertible body styles. The first generation B4 and D4 were launched in 2014 and the more powerful B4 S was launched in 2017. Development and introduction Introduced at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, the B4 is based on the outgoing 435i. The N55 straight-6 engine was modified by using twin-turbochargers, a 61 percent larger intercooler and a new crankshaft. The engine also utilized new pistons; all of these modifications allow the engine to generate between 5,550 and 6,250 rpm and between 3,000 and 4,000 rpm. BMW 4 Series (F32)
The first generation of the BMW 4 Series consists of the BMW F32 (coupé version), BMW F33 (convertible version) and BMW F36 (five-door liftback version, marketed as 'Gran Coupé') compact executive cars. The F32/F33/F36 was produced from 2014 to 2020 and is often collectively referred to as the F32. The F32 was introduced as the successor to the E92/E93 coupé/convertible models of the fifth-generation 3 Series range. ZF 8HP Transmission
8HP is ZF Friedrichshafen AG's trademark name for its eight-speed automatic transmission models (8-speed transmission with Hydraulic converter and Planetary gearsets) for longitudinal engine applications, designed and built by ZF's subsidiary in Saarbrücken.
