Alpha Beta Kappa () is the only honor society recognizing excellence in the arts, the sciences, the trades, business, and both technical and general studies. It is also the only honor society in America that represents degree-granting institutions, junior colleges, senior colleges, and student-centered private career schools.Explained in thSociety's Historical summary accessed 18 Dec 2021. Alpha Beta Kappa places Chapters in nationally accredited institutions which have demonstrated high standards for many years in the education and training of women and men in the numerous fields, trades and occupations essential to modern society. The Order of the Arrow, for example, is the National Honor Society of the Boy Scouts of America. Chiefly, the term refers to scholastic honor societies, those that recognize students who excel academically or as leaders among their peers, often within a specific academic discipline. Ocean View is a town in Sussex County, Delaware, United States. The population was 1,882 at the 2010 census, an increase of 87.1% over the previous decade.
