All My Sons (album)
Down to Nothing (or DTN) was a straight edge hardcore punk band from Richmond, Virginia. Since their inception in 2000, the band has toured all over the world. Their most recent studio recording is the 2013 LP ''Life on the James'' on Revelation Records, preceded by CD/vinyl EP titled ''All My Sons'' released in 2010 on Reaper Records (US) and Dead Souls Records (AUS). Down to Nothing's first two albums, ''Save It for the Birds'' and ''Splitting Headache'', are currently out of print but were re-released in February 2008 on one CD/LP titled ''Unbreakable''. Members of Down to Nothing also play in Terror and Trapped Under Ice. 50 Lions
50 Lions are an Australian hardcore punk, hardcore band from Byron Bay, New South Wales. The band is named after a video poker machine of the same name. History In 2005, they released their self-titled 7-inch EP, which sold out within 3 months of its release. Later that year, they released their debut album, ''Nowhere to Run'', through Washed Up Records. In 2006 they did a tour with Australian band I Killed the Prom Queen. They then released ''Time Is the Enemy'' through Resist Records in 2007. At the beginning of 2008, the band played alongside Parkway Drive in 14 out of 15 dates during the Surf Rat Tour. They have since released a split CD with American band Down to Nothing. Kids Like Us (band)
Kids Like Us is an American hardcore punk band from north Florida. Formed in 2003, the band drew influences from various subgenres of punk prominent in the scene at the time such as DIY, Garage, and Skate. Known for their over-the-top lyrical vulgarity and aggression, most of the songs they wrote and performed were casual in theme, often relating to skateboarding, eating burritos, straightedge lifestyle, and drinking Coca-Cola. They released three full-length albums and two split albums, and toured with bands such as Down To Nothing, Casey Jones, and the Mongoloids. Hardcore punk (also known as simply hardcore) is a punk rock music genre and subculture that originated in the late 1970s. It is generally faster, harder, and more aggressive than other forms of punk rock. Gramophone Record
A phonograph record (also known as a gramophone record, especially in British English), or simply a record, is an analog sound storage medium in the form of a flat disc with an inscribed, modulated spiral groove. The groove usually starts near the periphery and ends near the center of the disc. At first, the discs were commonly made from shellac, with earlier records having a fine abrasive filler mixed in. Starting in the 1940s polyvinyl chloride became common, hence the name vinyl. The phonograph record was the primary medium used for music reproduction throughout the 20th century. It had co-existed with the phonograph cylinder from the late 1880s and had effectively superseded it by around 1912. Records retained the largest market share even when new formats such as the compact cassette were mass-marketed.
