Alexandra Bech Gjørv
Alexandra Bech Gjørv (born 13 September 1965) is a Norwegian lawyer and businesswoman. She is the daughter of journalist Toppen Bech, and a daughter-in-law of politician Inger Lise Gjørv. She was assigned with Norsk Hydro from 1993 to 2007, and with Statoil from 2007 to 2010. She chaired the governmental commission appointed after the 2011 Norway attacks, which presented their findings in the Gjørv Report. In 2015 she became the chief executive of SINTEF. Toppen Bech
Toppen Bech (28 March 1939 – 5 February 2024) was a Norwegian journalist. Biography Toppen Bech was born in Oslo, and was the mother of Alexandra Bech Gjørv. From 1960 to 1971 she worked for the newspaper ''Aftenposten'', and she edited the magazine '' Alle Kvinner'' from 1973 to 1978. She was assigned to the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation NRK, an abbreviation of the Norwegian ''Norsk Rikskringkasting AS'', generally expressed in English as the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, is the Norwegian government-owned radio and television public broadcasting company, and the largest ... in 1984. Unni Steinsmo (born 15 March 1954) is a Norwegian chemical engineer and researcher. She served as chief executive of SINTEF from 2004 to 2016. Steinsmo was born in Levanger. She graduated as chemical engineer from the Norwegian Institute of Technology, and as dr.ing. in materials science in 1987. Inger Lise Gjørv
Inger Lise Gjørv (26 May 1938 – 28 March 2009) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. Career She was born in Oslo as the daughter of physician Sverre Strand (1906–1992) and housewife Liv Alnæs (1912–2005). She enrolled as a student in 1957, and graduated with the cand.mag. degree in 1962 from the University of Oslo. She also met her husband, Ole Andreas Gjørv, there, and they moved to Sandvollan. From 1963 to 1977 she worked as a high school teacher in Steinkjer. On the local level she was a member of the executive committee of Inderøy municipal council from 1975 to 1979. She chaired the local party chapter from 1973 to 1978. She was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Nord-Trøndelag in 1977, and was re-elected on three occasions.
