Albania In The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016
Albania participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song "Besoj" written by Adrian Hila and Pandi Laço. The song was performed by Klesta Quehaja. The Albanian entry for the 2016 contest in Valletta, Malta was selected through a national final organised by the Albanian broadcaster Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH). The national final consisted of fourteen competing acts participating in a televised production where the winner was determined by 100% votes of jury members made up of music professionals. Klesta Qehaja won the ''Festivali 53 i Këngës për Fëmijë'' with the song "Besoj", on 1 June 2016. Jedward
John and Edward Grimes (born 16 October 1991), collectively known as Jedward (a portmanteau of their first names), are an Irish singing and television presenting duo. They are identical twins who first appeared as John & Edward in the sixth series of ''The X Factor'' in 2009, generating a phenomenon of ironic popularity described as "the Jedward paradox". Christer Björkman
Christer Samuel Björkman (; born 25 August 1957) is a Swedish singer and television producer. He represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 1992 with the song "I morgon är en annan dag". From 2002 to 2021, he served as a producer of Melodifestivalen, and remained an important figure in Melodifestivalen and the Eurovision Song Contest. He stepped down from this position after Melodifestivalen 2021, and is currently working at Voxovation, a Los Angeles-based company that focuses on expanding the Eurovision Song Contest brand into other markets. Andri Xhahu
Andri Xhahu (born 30 April 1987 in Tirana, Albania) is an Albanian television and radio presenter, host and editor, who works for RTSH. Since 2012, he has served as the Albanian commentator and spokesperson for the Eurovision Song Contest. Career Xhahu began his career in 2003 hosting "Koha tendencë" on Radio Koha. Soon afterwards, he moved to Radio Tirana. Having become popular through the radio evening shows, he went on to host various radio shows: "Nata nuk do t'ja dijë", "Bisedë me zë të ulët", "Deri në pikë të fundit", "Hapur". Since 2008, Xhahu has hosted the radio broadcast " Gjithçka Shqip". The show airs everyday from 16.00-17.00pm and combines a mixture of the latest Albanian music, chat and celebrity guests. Russia participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016 which took place on 20 November 2016, in Valletta, Malta. The Russian broadcaster Russia-1, owned by the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK) was responsible for organising their entry for the contest. Sofia Fisenko won the national final on 16 August 2016 with the song "Zhivaya voda" (russian: Живая Вода).
