Alain Chivilò
Alain Chivilò is an Italian contemporary art curator, critic and writer based in Venice and Milan. He began his studies on art during childhood with lessons held by Master Eugenio Da Venezia, starting around a post-impressionistic figurative way of expression generated by a group of modern artists working before and world war II in Italy. He studied art history and business administration at university, but he doesn't like to write these qualifications with the dr abbreviation or similar (doctor, phd, dottore, ext). More research, to deepen his education on contemporary art, has been done in cities such as London, Paris, Madrid as well as Milan, Venice and Rome. In Venice he is one of the last artistic director to defend a nineteenth century masters group characterized by exploring nature, still life and portraits (Marco Novati, Eugenio Da Venezia, Neno Mori, Carlo Dalla Zorza, Fioravante Seibezzi, Cosimo Privato, Mario Varagnolo for example). Villa Pisani, Stra
Villa Pisani at Stra refers to the monumental, late- Baroque rural palace located along the Brenta Canal (Riviera del Brenta) at Via Doge Pisani 7 near the town of Stra, on the mainland of the Veneto, northern Italy. This villa is one of the largest examples of Villa Veneta located in the Riviera del Brenta, the canal linking Venice to Padua. The patrician Pisani family of Venice commissioned a number of villas, also known as ''Villa Pisani'' across the Venetian mainland. The villa and gardens now operate as a national museum, and the site sponsors art exhibitions. Roberto Barni
Roberto Barni (born 1939) is an Italian sculptor. Biography Roberto Barni was born in Pistoia. He began his public career in 1960 with exhibitions in Pistoia and Florence. His works, exhibited also in Rome in 1963, included paintings, photographs, casts, sculptures and topographies. Between 1986 and 1987 he had a studio in New York City, and had various exhibitions including a solo display at the Queens Museum. Donald Martiny
Donald Martiny (born 1953 in Schenectady, New York) is an American artist. His abstract paintings are related to both action painting and Abstract expressionism. Life Donald Martiny studied from 1977 to 1980 at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. From 1980 to 1983 he was a student at the Art Students League of New York. At the same time he attended courses on art at the New York University. From 2007 to 2009 he continued his education at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. He lives and works in Ivoryton, Connecticut.
