Al Warqaa
Al Warqa ( ar, الورقاء, ), sometimes spelled Al Warqa`a or Al Warqaa is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Located southeast of Dubai Creek, Al Warqaa is bordered to the north by Mirdif, the west by Nad Al Hammar- Awir and the south by Warsan or International City. The routes E 311 (Emirates Road) and E 44 (Al Awir Road) form the western and southern peripheries of Al Warqaa. Once a sparsely populated industrial locality close to Dubai city limits, Al Warqaa is now experiencing considerable growth due to the development of International City and other real estate projects near the area. Our Own English High School
Established in 1968, the GEMS Our Own English High School (OOEHS) – Dubai, is one of the oldest schools in the UAE. It was the first school established by K. S. Varkey and his wife, Mariama Varkey. The school is now managed by GEMS Education founded by their son, Sunny Varkey. The first campus opened in Bastakia and moved to Oud Metha in 1983. The School moved once again to its current location Al Warqa'a. Initially the girls and boys attended the same campus during different times of day; the girls were in the morning and the boys were in the afternoon. When the male students moved to a new campus in Al Warqa’a in 2007, the girls and boys school split into separate campuses. The girls school moved to Al Warqa in 2012. ''Gulf News'' is a daily English language newspaper published from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was first launched in 1978, and is currently distributed throughout the UAE and also in other Persian Gulf Countries. Its online edition was launched in 1996. E 44 Road (United Arab Emirates)
E 44 ( ar, إ ٤٤) is one of the main roads of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The road connects the city of Dubai to the town of Hatta. In Dubai, the city is also referred to as ''Al Khail Road'', '' Ras al Khor Road'' and, '' Al Aweer Road'', ''Dubai-Hatta Highway''. E 44 also connects the UAE with Oman. E 44 originates (as Al Khail Road) in Al Barsha, Dubai and runs roughly parallel to E 11 (Sheikh Zayed Road) and E 311 (Emirates Road).
