E 44 Road (United Arab Emirates)
E 44 ( ar, إ ٤٤) is one of the main roads of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The road connects the city of Dubai to the town of Hatta. In Dubai, the city is also referred to as ''Al Khail Road'', '' Ras al Khor Road'' and, '' Al Aweer Road'', ''Dubai-Hatta Highway''. E 44 also connects the UAE with Oman. E 44 originates (as Al Khail Road) in Al Barsha, Dubai and runs roughly parallel to E 11 (Sheikh Zayed Road) and E 311 (Emirates Road). It is referred to as ''Ras Al Khor Road'' after the E 44-Oud Mehta Road junction near Dubai Creek. The section between Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and Emirates Road is known as ''Al Awir Road''. Dubai Safari Park ( ar, دُبَي سَفَارِي بارك, Dubai Safari Park) is an eco-friendly safari park located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The park's major source of energy is solar energy. The Park is located on Al Warqa 5 on the Hatta Road. The park has 3000 animals from more than 250 species. The park replaced the Dubai Zoo on its 50th anniversary. The park plans to increase the animal number to 5000 by 2020. On May 15, 2018, the Park closed for renovations and improvements until being reopened in October 2020. History The old Dubai zoo was replaced by Dubai Safari Park when It only had a collection of 1000 animals. The park consists of 12.8 Million square feet of area. The old park had faced criticism internationally about the conditions the animals were kept in Caged up, very little space, barely able to move. E 611 ( ar, إ ٦١١) is a road constructed in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Also known as the "Emirates Road", E 611 is developed to link the emirate of Abu Dhabi with the northern emirates of Ras al Khaimah, Umm al Quwain, parallel to E311 without passing through the city of Dubai. History and description The project is being developed in three phases. Work on Phase 1, which began in February 2006, was intended to create a sector that starts along E 66 (Dubai–Al Ain Road) and extends inward towards E 77 (Jebel Ali–Al-Habab Road). Phase II of the project, which began in January 2007, involved linking the bypass with E 88 (Al Dhaid Road) in Sharjah. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road
E 311 (known in Arabic as شارع ﺇ ٣١١) is a major road in the United Arab Emirates. It begins in New Al Falah in Abu Dhabi and extends north-eastward towards the Ras al-Khaimah emirate. E 311 has been called Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road since January 2013 and is commonly known as SMBZ Road. Prior to that it was called Emirates Road, but that name is now given to E 611, which was previously Dubai Bypass Road. It was originally designed by the Dubai Municipality to cut the traffic of heavy vehicles from the downtown area. However, due to a very bad road infrastructure in Sharjah, traffic bottle-necks are often seen near Dubai–Sharjah border. In 2006 it was re-developed by RTA in Dubai, creating 6 lanes on each side. Dubai Creek
Dubai Creek ( ar, خور دبي, Khūr Dubay) has been described as a natural saltwater creek, tidal inlet, and watercourse or waterway in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). It extends about inwards and forms a natural port that has traditionally been used for trade and transport. The creek ranges from in width while the average depth is about . Previously, it extended to Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary but as part of the new Business Bay Canal and Dubai Canal, it extends a further to the Persian Gulf. Some sources say that the creek historically extended as far inland as Al Ain, and that the Ancient Greeks called it River Zara. In the 1950s, extensive development of the creek began, including dredging and construction of breakwaters. E 11 ( ar, شارع ﺇ ١١) is a highway in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The longest road in the Emirates, it stretches from Al-Silah in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and ends in Ras al-Khaimah emirate, running roughly parallel to UAE's coastline along the Persian Gulf. The road forms the main artery in some emirates' main cities, where it assumes various alternate names —Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Road and Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Road in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, and Sheikh Muhammad bin Salem Road in Ras al-Khaimah.
