Al Mesbar Studies And Research Centre
Al Mesbar Studies & Research Center is a Dubai based cultural phenomena think tank concentrating on the study of Islamic Movements. The Center focuses on "contemporary Islamic Movements, their thoughts and practices, symbolisms and ideologies and especially those that have nhistoric impact which is still in effect today". It was founded in 2007 by Turki Bin Abdullah Aldakhil. Al-Mesbar Centre tries to materialize this transformation process through its various cultural, research and specialized scientific activities. Al-Mesbar Centre pays special attention to studying contemporary Islamic movements in order to unveil the nature of these constructive movements, observe their relations with other movements and their interaction with their milieu, presenting an anticipatory view to its future on all levels, and a view of the future of the nation away from calls of isolation and extremism. Turki Bin Abdullah Aldakhil
Chagatai (چغتای, ''Čaġatāy''), also known as ''Turki'', Eastern Turkic, or Chagatai Turkic (''Čaġatāy türkīsi''), is an extinct Turkic literary language that was once widely spoken across Central Asia and remained the shared literary language there until the early 20th century. It was used across a wide geographic area including parts of modern-day Uzbekistan, Xinjiang, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. Literary Chagatai is the predecessor of the modern Karluk branch of Turkic languages, which include Uzbek and Uyghur. Turkmen, which is not within the Karluk branch but in the Oghuz branch of Turkic languages, had been heavily influenced by Chagatai for centuries. Arabiya ( ar, العربية, transliterated: '; meaning "The Arabic One" or "The Arab One") is an international Arabic news television channel, currently based in Dubai, that is operated by the media conglomerate MBC. The channel is a flagship of the media conglomerate and is therefore the only single offering to carry the name as simply "Al Arabiya" in its branding. Abdullah bin Bijad Al Otaibi / AlHashishi (Arabic: عبد الله بن بجاد العتيبي ) is a Saudi writer and researcher, is a member of the board of advisors at Al Mesbar Studies and Research Centre. Al Otaibi has written for many Arabic and Saudi newspapers such as Al Ittihad, Okaz, and Al Hayat (London). He currently contributes a weekly article to Asharq Al-Awsat, Al Ittihad, and Al Majalla. He has published several research papers for Al Mesbara's monthly publication including "Loyalty and Enmity: the Ideology of the Political Opposition in Islam" and "Saudi Arabia and the Muslim Brotherhood". Mansour al-Nogaidan is a Saudi writer, columnist, reformist and journalist. He resides in the UAE and was born in 1970 in Buraidah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. al-Nogaidan is divorced and has two children.
