Suomi-Filmi, lit. ''Finland-Film'', is a Finnish film production and distribution company established in 1919 by Erkki Karu. Suomi-Filmi produced around 160 feature-length films and for most of its history was one of the two most important film companies in the country, along with Suomen Filmiteollisuus. The company was home for several noted Finnish film directors, mainly its founder Erkki Karu, and the later two main directors Risto Orko and Valentin Vaala. After the 'Golden Age' of Finnish cinema ended, the company's film production rate slowed down, and eventually ended with the 1980 film '' Tulitikkuja lainaamassa''. The company still exists, but is mainly only active in the home video distribution of their catalogue of titles. São Lourenço, Minas Gerais
São Lourenço (''Saint Lawrence'') is a Brazilian municipality and spa town in the southern part of the state of Minas Gerais, in the Southeast of the country. It is one of the smallest Brazilian municipalities, with only 57.2 km² (22.1 sq. mi), and is located at an equal distance - approximately 3.5h - from two major cities, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Fenno-Filmi
Fenno-Filmi was a Finnish film production company. The company was founded by film directors Yrjö Norta and Theodor Luts in 1942. Luts and Erkki Uotila were the co-directors of the first Fenno-Filmi production ''Salainen ase'' which premiered on 3 January 1943. ''Erehtyneet sydämet'' was released in April 1944, with Uotila and Eero Leväluoma sharing the director's credits. Later that year, Yrjö Norta directed a film ''Hiipivä vaara''. Norta directed five of Fenno-Filmi's 18 films. Roland af Hällström made his first Fenno-Filmi effort ''Houkutuslintu'' in 1946. He soon became the head director for the company, a position which he later kept in Fennada-Filmi as well. Edvin Laine, Jorma Nortimo and Teuvo Tulio were some of the other directors who worked for Fenno-Filmi.
