Akademisk Boldklub
Akademisk Boldklub Gladsaxe (or AB) is a Danish professional football club from Gladsaxe north of Copenhagen, currently playing at the 3rd highest level of Danish domestic football in the Danish 2nd Division group 1. The club was established on February 26, 1889, through a merger of Fredericia Studenternes Kricketklub and Polyteknisk Boldklub. AB is nine time Danish Champions, eight time Copenhagen Champions, one time Danish Cup Champions and six times Copenhagen Cup Champions, and the club is thus one of the most successful in Danish football. The club has training and club facilities in Bagsværd north of Copenhagen and plays its home matches at Gladsaxe Stadium, also called ''Stade de Lundberg'', named after one of the club's pioneers, Knud Lundberg. Gladsaxe Stadium
Gladsaxe Stadium ( da, Gladsaxe Stadion) is a sports center located on Gladsaxevej 200, Søborg, Gladsaxe Municipality, in Copenhagen, which is primarily used for association football matches. The stadium hosts a number of training courses for running the football, handball and softball and hosts a restaurant. The ground is the home ground of Akademisk Boldklub and Gladsaxe-Hero Boldklub (rail size: 68 x 105 meters, and lighting: 700 lux.). The stadium has a capacity of 13,800, of which 8,000 are covered seats. The construction of the plant was started in 1938 and named Gladsaxe Idrætspark Marielyst. The inauguration of the facility took place on 26 May 1940. Recent renovation was started on 16 November 1998 and included construction of one long side with both upper and lower grandstand and a sponsor lounge. Knud Lundberg
Knud Lundberg (14 May 1920 – 12 August 2002) was a Danish multi-talented sportsperson, who most notably won a bronze medal with the Denmark national football team at the 1948 Summer Olympics. He represented the Danish national team in football, handball and basketball, and he won the Danish national championship in all three disciplines. He played his footballing career at Akademisk Boldklub. In his civil life, Lundberg studied medicine and sports. Frederik Markmann
Frederik Joachim August Markmann (13 October 1848 – 15 July 1927) was a Danish football executive, who was the first chairman of the Danish Football Association from May 1889 to 1890. Official career Born in 1848 as the son of a master baker, he became a student at the von Westenske Institute in 1866, studied law, and took his master's degree ( Jurist) in 1872. In the following year he was employed as an assistant in the Overformynderiet's bookkeeping, then in the Ministry of Finance. He became a clerk in the Domain Office in 1889, a county administrator for Holstebro Amtstuedistrikt in 1892, appointed county administrator for Vejle Amtstuedistrikt in 1913 and forest treasurer for Randbøl District at the same time. Niels Henrik David Bohr (; 7 October 1885 – 18 November 1962) was a Danish physicist who made foundational contributions to understanding atomic structure and quantum theory, for which he received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1922. René Henriksen
René Henriksen (born 27 August 1969) is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a defender for Danish club Akademisk Boldklub and Panathinaikos in Greece. Kresten Bjerre (22 February 1946 – 19 February 2014) was a Danish footballer, who played professionally for Houston Stars in the United States, and European clubs PSV Eindhoven and R.W.D. Molenbeek. Harald Bohr
Harald August Bohr (22 April 1887 – 22 January 1951) was a Danish mathematician and footballer. After receiving his doctorate in 1910, Bohr became an eminent mathematician, founding the field of almost periodic functions. His brother was the Nobel Prize-winning physicist Niels Bohr.
