Aja Volkman
Aja Volkman (; born March 4, 1980) is an American singer and songwriter, best known as the frontwoman of the indie rock band Nico Vega. She has also released an Extended Play, EP titled ''Egyptian'' as a duo with her former husband Dan Reynolds (singer), Dan Reynolds (of Imagine Dragons) under the moniker Egyptian (band), Egyptian. Personal life Volkman is the daughter of James Volkman and artist Rogene Manas. She attended South Eugene High School and graduated in the class of 1998 at the age of 18. She married the lead singer of Imagine Dragons, Dan Reynolds (singer), Dan Reynolds, on March 5, 2011. They have three daughters and a son. Their oldest daughter was born August 2012, fraternal twin girls in March 2017, and their son in October 2019. Daniel Coulter Reynolds (born July 14, 1987) is an American singer and songwriter. He is the lead vocalist of the pop rock band Imagine Dragons. Reynolds also released an EP in 2011, titled ''Egyptian – EP,'' as a duo with his former wife Aja Volkman under the moniker Egyptian. "Beast" is a song written by the American alternative rock band Nico Vega. The song was originally recorded for the EP ''chooseyourwordspoorly'' (2006) but a later version was released as a single in 2013. It reached No. 26 on the Billboard Hot Rock Songs chart. Manic Street Preachers, also known simply as the Manics, are a Welsh rock band formed in Blackwood in 1986. Bush are an English rock band formed in London, England in 1992. Their current lineup consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Gavin Rossdale, lead guitarist Chris Traynor, bassist Corey Britz, and drummer Nik Hughes.
