Aghabala Ramazanov
Aghabala Ramazanov (born 20 January 1993) is an Azerbaijani professional footballer who plays as a forward for Azerbaijan Premier League club Sabail. He is the brother of Zaur Ramazanov. Career Club In June 2015, Ramazanov moved from Khazar Lankaran FK to Sumgayit FK. On 24 May 2018, Qarabağ announced that Ramazanov had been released by the club following expiration of his contract. On 26 May 2018, Sabail FK announced the signing of Ramazanov. On 24 May 2018, Ramazanov signed 1.5 years contract with Zira FK Ramazanov left Zira at the end of May 2022. Azerbaijan Supercup
The Azerbaijan Supercup ( az, Azərbaycan Milli Futbol Superkuboku) was a football competition, held at the beginning of each domestic season and disputed between the winners of the Azerbaijan Premier League and the winners of the Azerbaijan Cup. It was held in 1993–1995 period as "Sahar" Supercup. From 1996 the competition became inactive. The competition was reestablished in 2013, although it is not held since. History Neftchi Baku holds the record for winning the Supercup the most times, winning it two times since the competition began in 1993. In 1994, Qarabağ were awarded automatically with the Supercup after the team won both the domestic title and the Azerbaijan Cup. The 2016–17 Azerbaijan Premier League was the 25th season of the Azerbaijan Premier League, the Azerbaijani professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1992. Qarabağ were the defending champions, having won the previous season. The season began on 6 August 2016 and concluded on 29 April 2017. On 16 April 2017, Qarabağ defeated Inter Baku 3–0 to successfully defend their league title - their fourth league title in a row and fifth overall. 2011–12 Azerbaijan Premier League
The 2011–12 Azerbaijan Premier League (known as the Unibank Premyer Liqası for sponsorship reasons) was the twentieth season of the Premier League since its establishment in 1992. Neftchi Baku was the defending champions, having won their second Azerbaijani championship the previous season. A total of twelve teams participated in the league, the ten sides remaining of the 2010–11 season, one promoted club from the 2010–11 Azerbaijan First Division and a totally new club instead of defunct First Division champions FC Absheron. Baku Olympic Stadium ( az, Bakı Olimpiya Stadionu), is a stadium, designed and constructed to meet the international standards for stadiums set by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) and the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).
