Adelaide Muskwe
Adelaide Thandeke Muskwe (born 21 August 1998) is a Zimbabwean netball player who represents Zimbabwe internationally and plays in the positions of goal defense and wing defense. Life Muske and her twin brother Admiral were born in 1998 at Parirenyatwa Hospital in Harare, Zimbabwe. They moved to the United Kingdom when they were three. Her talents led to her attending Ratcliffe College near Loughborough where she trained with the elite netball team Loughborough Lightning and trained also at UK national camps. Adelaide is a Nottingham Trent University graduate in Sports Science and she has signed for the Severn Stars netball team in 2019 who are based in Worcester. Harare
Harare (; formerly Salisbury ) is the capital and most populous city of Zimbabwe. The city proper has an area of 940 km2 (371 mi2) and a population of 2.12 million in the 2012 census and an estimated 3.12 million in its metropolitan area in 2019. Admiral Muskwe
Admiral Dalindlela Muskwe (born 21 August 1998) is a Zimbabwean professional footballer who plays as a forward for League One club Fleetwood Town on loan from Luton Town and the Zimbabwe national team. Club career Muskwe signed for local team Leicester City at the age of nine in 2007. In May 2016 he was named the club's Academy Player of the Season, and one month later signed his first professional contract to keep him at the club until 2019. On 28 January 2020, Muskwe joined Swindon Town on loan for the rest of the season. His next loan was at Wycombe Wanderers, who he signed for on 5 January 2021. He made his debut for Wycombe in the FA Cup against Preston North End on 9 January 2021. On his league debut for Wycombe, against Brentford, he scored his first professional goal on 30 January 2021. Parirenyatwa Hospital
Parirenyatwa General Hospital a hospital in Harare and is the largest medical centre in Zimbabwe. The hospital was formerly known as the Andrew Fleming Hospital and was named after the principal medical officer to the British South Africa Company. Following Zimbabwean independence in 1980, the hospital was renamed in honour of Tichafa Samuel Parirenyatwa (1927–1962), a close associate of Joshua Nkomo and the first black person from the country to qualify as a doctor of medicine. As well as its general medical and surgical sections, the hospital includes Mbuya Nehanda, a maternity section; Sekuru Kaguvi, which specialises in eye treatment; and an annex for psychiatric patients and several specialist paediatric wards. Ratcliffe College
Ratcliffe College is a coeducational Catholic independent boarding and day school near the village of Ratcliffe on the Wreake, Leicestershire, approximately from Leicester, England. The college, situated in of parkland on the Fosse Way about six miles (10 km) north of Leicester, was founded on the instructions of Blessed Father Antonio Rosmini-Serbati in 1845 as a seminary. In 1847, the buildings were converted for use as a boarding school for upper-class boys. The college became coeducational under the presidency of Father Tony Baxter in the mid-1970s. Loughborough Lightning (netball)
Loughborough Lightning is an English netball team based at Loughborough University. Their senior team plays in the Netball Superleague. In 2005–06 they were founder members of the league. They also enter under-19 and under-21 teams in the National Performance League. Using the name Loughborough Students, Loughborough University also enter teams in intervarsity leagues organised by British Universities and Colleges Sport. Together with the women's cricket team and the women's rugby union team, the netball team is one of three women's sports teams based at Loughborough University that use the Loughborough Lightning name. Severn Stars
Severn Stars are an English netball team based at the University of Worcester and the University of Gloucestershire. The team is named after the River Severn, which runs through Worcester and Gloucester, the home cities of the two universities. Severn Stars were formed in 2016 and since 2017 their senior team has played in the Netball Superleague. 2019 Netball World Cup
The 2019 Netball World Cup (also known as the 2019 Vitality Netball World Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the 15th edition of the INF Netball World Cup. It was held from 12–21 July 2019 at the Liverpool Arena in Liverpool, England with matches being held on two courts. Host nation England finished their campaign with a bronze medal. New Zealand became 5th time champions after beating Australia in the final and gold medal match. Sixteen nations contested for the title, which included the top six of the previous tournament which was held in Sydney, Australia. After two group stage rounds, Australia, England, New Zealand and South Africa all made it to the semi-finals. The Netball World Cup is a quadrennial international netball world championship organised by the World Netball, inaugurated in 1963. Since its inception the competition has been dominated primarily by the Australia national netball team and the New Zealand national netball team, as of the 2019 event having both medaled in every one of the 15 championships – Trinidad and Tobago is the only other team to have won a title (a three-way tie in the 1979 championship).
