Aberdeen Community Health And Care Village
Aberdeen Community Health and Care Village also known as The Health Village is a community hospital located in the centre of Aberdeen, Scotland. It is managed by NHS Grampian. History Plans for the complex were announced in 2010. The facility, which cost £15 million to construct, opened in December 2013. It was the first healthcare facility to be completed in Scotland under the hub framework of the Scottish Futures Trust. Services The health village, which is designed to offer services to 700 patients a day, contains 275 rooms including three dental suites, two minor procedure rooms and 29 consulting rooms. Services being run from the health village include: cardiac rehabilitation, dentistry, dietetics, physiotherapy, podiatry, radiology, sexual health, speech and language therapy and minor surgery. NuArt Festival
The NuArt Festival is an annual Street Art festival traditionally held in September, in Stavanger (Norway), since 2001. Many associated artworks can be found in Stavanger, at Utsira and in Oslo. Since 2017, there is also a NuArt Festival in Aberdeen, Scotland. The not for profit event is purely dedicated to street art, in all its forms. The ''Evening Express'' is a daily local newspaper serving the city of Aberdeen, Scotland. History It was first published in November 1879. It was a tabloid during the 1930s to the 1950s until it resumed as a broadsheet in November 1958, six days a week. By September 1989, The Saturday edition returned to a tabloid with the broadsheet formula during the weekdays. It became a tabloid six days a week in February 1995. There was also a Saturday night paper called the Green Final which ended in June 2002 after many years in which it was printed on green paper instead of the usual white.
