Aaron Wade
Aaron "Little Tiger" Wade (March 17, 1916 – February 15, 1985) was an American Middleweight boxer who fought from 1935 to 1950. Wade was a member of the famed Black Murderer's Row. Early life Born in Trenton Tennessee Wade became the first African American golden gloves champion in Peoria, Illinois and reportedly had 600 or more amateur fights. Aarons older brother Bruce "Big Tiger" Wade was also a professional boxer, albeit a less successful one than his younger brother. Ceferino Garcia
Ceferino Montano Garcia (August 26, 1906 – January 1, 1981) was a champion boxer born in Naval, Biliran, Philippines. He holds the most victories ever achieved by a Filipino boxer and is also the only boxer from the Philippines to become world champion in the middleweight division. Garcia is commonly credited to as the first well known user of the bolo punch, which was later popularized by Cuban fighter Kid Gavilán. He was inducted into the Ring Magazine Hall of Fame in 1977 and the World Boxing Hall of Fame in 1989. Walker Smith Jr. (May 3, 1921 – April 12, 1989), better known as Sugar Ray Robinson, was an American professional boxer who competed from 1940 to 1965. Sam Baroudi
Sam Baroudi (born Sammy Crandall, August 29, 1926 – February 21, 1948) was a professional American boxer in the middleweight division. Boxing career Baroudi fought his first professional fight on May 15, 1945 in the Meadowbrook Bowl in Newark, New Jersey, winning against Jimmy Picollo by knockout in the first round. Over the next two years his record was 35 wins, 7 losses, and two draws. On August 15, 1947, in his 44th fight, Baroudi fought Newton Smith, knocking Smith out in the ninth round. Smith never regained consciousness and later died in the hospital. Baroudi lost his next fight on points, but started another winning streak.
