Aaron Costello
Aaron Costello (born 1993) is an Irish hurler who plays for Limerick Senior Championship club Kilmallock and at inter-county level with the Limerick senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a left corner-back. Playing career University College Cork As a student at University College Cork, Costello also became involved in Gaelic games. On 8 March 2012, he came on as a 16th-minute substitute to win an All-Ireland Freshers Championship medal following a 0-24 to 3-11 defeat of the University of Limerick in the final. Kilmallock Costllo joined the Kilmallock club at a young age and played in all grades at juvenile and underage levels, enjoying championship success in the minor and under-21 grades before eventually joining the club's senior team. Kilmallock
Kilmallock () is a town in south County Limerick, Ireland, near the border with County Cork. There is a Dominican Priory in the town and King's Castle (or King John's Castle). The remains of medieval walls which encircled the settlement are still visible. History Foundation and development Saint Mocheallóg built a church in the area in the early 7th century, and the town's name derives from the Irish ''Cill Mocheallóg'' meaning "the church of Mocheallóg". The town was of considerable importance in the late medieval period, ranking as one of the main urban areas in Ireland at the time. The Collegiate Church of St Peter and St Paul was built by 1241. Ballyhale Shamrocks is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the parish of Ballyhale in County Kilkenny, Republic of Ireland. The club was founded in 1972 and is primarily concerned with the game of hurling. Ballyhale Shamrocks are the most successful club in the history of the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship with eight titles. Hurling History Beginnings Gaelic Games had been played in the parish of Ballyhale long before the Shamrocks club was established. By the early 1970s there were two competing clubs in existence in the parish, Ballyhale and Knocktopher, however, they were both facing extinction. The National Hurling League is an annual Inter county, inter-county hurling competition featuring teams from Ireland and England. Founded in 1925 by the Gaelic Athletic Association, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation within the league system. The league has 35 teams divided into six divisions, with either five or six teams in each division. Promotion and relegation between these divisions is a central feature of the league. Tom Condon (born 9 November 1987) is an Irish hurler who plays for Limerick Intermediate Championship club Knockaderry. He is a former player with the Limerick senior hurling team, with whom he usually lines out as a right corner-back. Playing career Knockaderry Condon joined the Knockaderry club at a young age and played in all grades at juvenile and underage levels before joining the club's top adult team. Limerick Minor and under-21 Condon first lined out for Limerick as a member of the minor team during the 2005 Munster Championship. The 2019 National Hurling League is the 88th season of the National Hurling League for county teams. Kilkenny were the defending champions, having won the 2018 league. The GAA announced a new broadcast agreement on 10 January 2019 that runs from 2019 until 2022. Eir Sport and RTÉ provide live TV coverage of the league on Saturday nights. TG4 broadcast Sunday afternoon games. Lorcan Lyons (born 1996) who plays for Limerick Senior Championship club Monaleen. He usually lines out as a left corner-forward. Lyons is a former member of the Limerick senior hurling team. Playing career Castletroy College Lyons first came to prominence as a hurler with Castletroy College in Limerick.
