Tom Condon (hurler)
Tom Condon (born 9 November 1987) is an Irish hurler who plays for Limerick Intermediate Championship club Knockaderry. He is a former player with the Limerick senior hurling team, with whom he usually lines out as a right corner-back. Playing career Knockaderry Condon joined the Knockaderry club at a young age and played in all grades at juvenile and underage levels before joining the club's top adult team. Limerick Minor and under-21 Condon first lined out for Limerick as a member of the minor team during the 2005 Munster Championship. He made his first appearance on 4 May when he lined out at left corner-back in a 2-14 to 1-06 defeat of Tipperary. Condon was again at left corner-back on 26 June when Limerick suffered a 2-18 to 1-12 defeat by Cork in the Munster Championship final. 2013 Munster Senior Hurling Championship Final
The 2013 Munster Senior Hurling Championship Final was the 122nd final of the Munster Senior Hurling Championship, one of the most prestigious provincial hurling championships. The match, contested by Limerick and Cork, took place on 14 July 2013 at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick, and started at 4:00 p.m. It was Limerick's 45th Munster final and Cork's 80th. In Ireland, the match was televised live on ''the Sunday Game'' on RTÉ Two with commentary from Ger Canning and Michael Duignan. GAA All Stars Awards
The Gaelic Athletic Association-Gaelic Players' Association All Stars Awards (often known simply as the All Stars) are awarded annually to the best player in each of the 15 playing positions in Gaelic football and hurling. Additionally, one player in each code is selected as Player of the Year. The awards were instituted in 1971. Since 2011 they have been presented jointly by the Gaelic Athletic Association and the representative body for inter-county players, the Gaelic Players Association. The Down County Board ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Coiste Chontae An Dún) or Down GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) in Ireland, and is responsible for the administration of Gaelic games in County Down, Northern Ireland. The County Board is responsible for preparing the Down county teams in the various Gaelic sporting codes; football, hurling, camogie and handball. The 2011 National Hurling League (known as the Allianz Hurling League for sponsorship reasons) was the 80th season of the National Hurling League. Ticket prices In January 2011, the GAA announced a reduction in ticket prices for the 2011 National Hurling League. The decision to cut prices was announced at a Central Council meeting and will see the cost of admission to a league game in the first division of the NHL dropping from €15 to €13, with a €5 admission to lower-level hurling games. Division 1 Galway came into the season as defending champions of the 2010 season. Wexford entered Division 1 as the promoted team. Dónal O'Grady
Dónal O'Grady (born 31 December 1953) is an Irish former hurler and manager. O'Grady had a successful playing career as a full-back at senior level with the Cork county team throughout the early 1980s. In a brief career he won one All-Ireland winner's medal, three Munster winner's medals and one National League winner's medal as captain. At club level, O'Grady was a double All-Ireland medalist with St Finbarr's. In addition to this he has also won three Munster club winners' medals and six county championship winners' medals. Following his retirement from playing he worked as a successful selector, coach and manager at all levels but most notably with the Cork and Limerick senior hurling teams. O'Grady also does media work and divides his time working for RTÉ and TG4, while also writing for the ''Irish Examiner''. Justin McCarthy (hurler)
Justin J. McCarthy (born 1945 in Passage West, County Cork) is an Irish former hurling manager and former player, who took over as manager of the Limerick senior inter-county team in October 2008. He played hurling with his local club Passage and with the Cork senior inter-county team in the 1960s and 1970s. As a player McCarthy was involved with the Cork team of the late 1960s. In a senior inter-county career that lasted from 1964 until 1974 he won one All-Ireland title, three Munster titles, two National Hurling League titles and two Railway Cup titles. Over the last four decades McCarthy has had some success as a manager with many different teams. In the 1970s he coached Antrim to an All-Ireland title at intermediate level before capturing back-to-back National Hurling League titles with Clare. Mark O'Riordan
Mark O'Riordan (born 1980 in Croom, County Limerick) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Croom and with the Limerick senior inter-county team. He also plays with the Limerick senior football team. Playing career Club O'Riordan plays his club hurling with his local Croom club and has enjoyed some success. Inter-county ;Hurling O'Riordan first came to prominence on the inter-county scene as a member of the Limerick under-21 team. He won a Munster title at this level in 2000 before later collecting an All-Ireland medal following a victory over Galway. The Munster GAA Hurling Senior Championship, known simply as the Munster Championship, is an annual Inter county, inter-county hurling competition organised by the Munster GAA, Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). The 2009 National Hurling League (known as the Allianz National Hurling League for sponsorship reasons) was the 78th season of the National Hurling League. Structure The National Hurling League saw a major restructuring of the usual four divisions with the teams divided more equitably into a five-tier structure.
