	Ceres Arena Ceres Arena (formerly NRGi Arena) is an indoor arena mainly used for handball matches and public events in Aarhus, Denmark. The arena was opened in 2001 and has a capacity of 5,001 spectators (4,394 seats). It is part of the Aarhus Sports Park, which also includes Aarhus Stadium. Ceres Arena is home to Danish Women's Handball League team Aarhus United and Danish Men's Handball League team Skanderborg Aarhus Håndbold. The arena functioned as the main venue in the 2002 European Women's Championships, hosting the final. 	Aarhus Gymnastikforening Aarhus Gymnastikforening (; commonly known as AGF ), is a professional sports club based in Aarhus, Jutland, Denmark. Founded in 1880, it is one of the oldest clubs in the country and gymnastics and fencing are featured as its main sports. However, AGF is mostly known for its football department, which was established in 1902. Currently, the club's first team plays in the Danish Superliga, the top flight of the Danish football league system. AGF has won five Danish Football Championships and a record nine Danish Cups. 	Aarhus Håndbold Aarhus Håndbold was a handball club from Aarhus, Denmark. The club was founded in 2001 originally under the name Århus GF, as an extension of the traditional Aarhus clubs Aarhus Gymnastikforening, AGF, Brabrand IF, VRI and Århus YMCA, KFUM/YMCA / Hasle. AGF chose later to withdraw from the superstructure. The home arena of Aarhus Håndbold was Ceres Arena. The club struggled in the last year of its existence with economic problems and in April 2021 the club was declared bankrupt. In connection with this all the players from Aarhus Håndbold were released and Århus Håndbold merged with the neighbors from Skanderborg Håndbold under the name Skanderborg Aarhus Håndbold. 	Team Århus Floorball Team Århus Floorball is a Danish floorball club playing in the Danish Floorball League for both men and women. The club's male team has played ind the highest league since 1995 and in 2010 the team won the Danish Floorball Championship as well as the Danish Cup. 	Jutland Racecourse The Jutland Racecourse (Danish: Jydsk Væddeløbsbane) is a public racecourse in Aarhus, Denmark. The racecourse is situated on ''Observatorievejen '' adjacent to the Aarhus Sports Park in the Aarhus C district north of Højbjerg. History The first horse races in Aarhus were held around 1898 on ''Marselisborg Mark'' or ''Skejby Mark''. Races were almost all gallop apart from a few exceptions in the 1910s. There was no tradition in Aarhus for horse racing and the only areas large enough to accommodate it as a spectator sport were two hilly.
