Aakarshi Kashyap
Aakarshi Kashyap (born 24 August 2001) is an Indian badminton player. She was selected to be part of the Indian team at the 2018 Asian Games. She was part of the national women's team that won the gold medal in 2019 South Asian Games. Early life, training and domestic results Early life and training Aakarshi Kashyap was born on 24 August 2001 in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, to Sanjeev Kashyap, a dermatologist, and Amita Kashyap. She has a younger brother named Shreyash. Aakarshi studied in Delhi Public School, Rajnandgaon. Her father encouraged her to improve her fitness and physical training. She studied for a BA at Seth Sugan Chand Surana College, Durg. Aakarshi started playing badminton in 2009 under Coach Sanjay Mishra at Ravi Shankar Stadium in Durg. Ashmita Chaliha
Ashmita Chaliha (born 18 October 1999) is an Indian badminton player. Born and brought up in Guwahati, she began playing badminton at the age of seven, and trained at the Assam Badminton Academy under Indonesian coach Edwin Iriawan and India’s Suranjan Bhobora, she was also coached by Pullela Gopichand for the asian games. Chaliha was part of the national junior team that competed at the 2017 World and Asian Junior Championships. She has been selected to be part of the Indian team for the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia. Chaliha won her first senior international title at the 2018 Dubai International Challenge in the women's singles event. Shuttler
Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. Saina Nehwal (; born 17 March 1990) is an Indian professional badminton player. A former world no. 1, she has won 24 international titles, which includes ten Superseries titles. The badminton tournaments at the 2012 Olympic Games in London took place between 28 July and 5 August at Wembley Arena. A total of 172 athletes competed in five events: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.
