Göyazan Qazakh FK is an Azerbaijani football club. The club currently takes part in Azerbaijan First Division. History The club was founded in 1978, re-established in 1986 and 2003. FC Goyazan participated in five Soviet Second League seasons during 1987–1991 years and ranked 5th in 1988 and made its best indicator. In 1986 they also won Azerbaijan USSR League. Imishli
Imishli District ( az, İmişli rayonu) is one of the 66 districts of Azerbaijan. It is located in the centre of the country and belongs to the Central Aran Economic Region. The district borders the districts of Beylagan, Zardab, Kurdamir, Sabirabad, Saatly, Bilasuvar, and the Ardabil Province of Iran. Its capital and largest city is Imishli. As of 2020, the district had a population of 131,400. Geography The district is mostly lowlands and its territory is below sea level. The Kura river forms the northern border of the district, while Aras river forms part of the southern border and flows through the centre of the district. Partly grey and grey soils are spread in the district. There are several natural mineral resources such as oil and gas and sand-gravel. The climate is mostly mild warm and dry desert. Imishli (city)
Imishli ( az, İmişli) is a city and the capital of the Imishli District of Azerbaijan. History During the Tsardom of Russia, Qaradonlu belonged to the Javad Khan administration. In 1906, the first School of Qaradonlu region was established, with many living-buildings, caravanserais, mills and shops in the area. In August 1930, Qaradonlu was organized in Mil-Mugan as a region. As early as the October Revolution, land-reclamation and irrigation work were made based on the intense irrigated plant-growing. In 1933, Qaradonlu Machine-Tractor Plant was built in the Qaradonlu historical region. As a result of the construction of the railway between Ələt and Yerevan, people moved from the center of the region to suburbs of the railway stations. Saatly
Saatly District () is one of the 66 districts of Azerbaijan. It is located in the centre of the country and belongs to the Central Aran Economic Region. The district borders the districts of Imishli, Sabirabad, and Bilasuvar. Its capital and largest city is Saatly. As of 2020, the district had a population of 109,100. History There are several findings relating to ancient settlements in the Saatly District. Archaeological monuments, as well as pottery materials of the 2nd and 3rd millennials B.C, were excavated in villages of Azadkend, Fatalikend, Jafarkhan, Varkhan and Alisoltanly. The Saatly region was formed on 25 May 1943. During World War II, 1600 residents of Saatly were sent to the front lines and 533 of them died in the war. Yevlakh ( az, Yevlax, ) is a city in Azerbaijan, 265 km west of capital Baku. It is surrounded by, but administratively separate from, the Yevlakh District. Karvan FK ( az, Karvan İdman Klubu) was an Azerbaijani football club based in Yevlakh, that participated in the Azerbaijan First Division. It was the first Azerbaijan club to pass the first qualification stage in the UEFA Cup. Shaki, Azerbaijan
