Sara García
Sara García Hidalgo (8 September 1895 – 21 November 1980) was a Mexican actress who made her biggest mark during the "Golden Age of Mexican cinema". During the 1940s and 1950s, she often played the part of a no-nonsense but lovable grandmother in numerous Mexican films. In later years, she played parts in Mexican telenovelas. García is remembered by her nickname, ''La Abuelita de México'' ("Mexico's Grandmother"). Life and career 1895–1917: Childhood Sara García Hidalgo was born on 8 September 1895 at Orizaba Veracruz. Her parents were Andalusian, Isidoro García Ruiz, an architect, and his wife Felipa Hidalgo de Ruiz in 1895. They moved from Havana, Cuba. to Veracruz. Her father was hired for various jobs there. Freddy Fernández (actor)
Alfredo Jesús Fernández Sáenz (January 16, 1934 – May 10, 1995) was a Mexican film and television actor, nicknamed El Pichi. Fernández was born in Mexico City, the only son of Alfredo Fernández and Elisa Sáenz Rojas. As a youth, he joined the Children's Fine Arts Theatre Company of Fine Arts under the direction of Clementina Otero. The nickname "El Pichi" was given to Fernández by producer Luis Manrique during the making of the film '' Callejera'' in 1949. He received the Virginia Fábregas medal from National Association of Actors (ANDA) for his 25 year career and was nominated three times for an Ariel Award. His son is Alfredo Fernández ("El Pato"). He died on May 10, 1995, of esophageal cancer in Mexico City, aged 61. His remains were buried in Cozumel, Quintana Roo, his son's garden. Juan Alfonso Zayas Inclán (30 June 1941 – 8 July 2021), better known as Alfonso Zayas, was a Mexican actor and comedian. He was best known for his participation in many Cinema of Mexico, Mexican sex comedy, sex comedies. In Mexico, Zayas participated in over 100 films. Zayas is remembered better by United States audiences for his participation, since 2000, in the Univision Saturday evenings show, Sabado Gigante. (born February 23, 1929), known professionally as Queta Lavat, is a Mexican actress. She is the sister of actor Jorge Lavat and voice actor José Lavat, and mother of Mexican sports anchor Pablo Carrillo. Eduardo Noriega (September 25, 1916 – August 14, 2007) was a Mexican film actor who appeared in over 100 films, mainly Mexican. His best-known English-language role was as Don Francisco from San Jose in '' Zorro, The Gay Blade'' (1981). Other film roles included Cameahwait in ''The Far Horizons'' (1955), Señor Dominguez in ''Of Love and Desire'' (1963), and Inspector Talmadge in ''Tarzan and the Valley of Gold'' (1966). Joaquín Cordero
Joaquín Cordero (; August 16, 1922 – February 19, 2013) was a Mexican actor of the cinema, theatre and telenovelas. Biography Shortly after his birth, Cordero's family moved to Mexico City, and in the following years he studied in a seminary and even considered becoming a priest, but eventually he decided to pursue a law career. After three years of law classes, against his family's wishes he decided to become an actor. He initially appeared in small roles but by his early fifties he was getting much larger roles. Eventually he became one of the most popular actors in Mexican cinema. Cordero also shown appeared in theatre and on television and in the latter medium in numerous telenovelas and winning numerous awards.
