Eduardo Noriega (Mexican Actor)
Eduardo Noriega (September 25, 1916 – August 14, 2007) was a Mexican film actor who appeared in over 100 films, mainly Mexican. His best-known English-language role was as Don Francisco from San Jose in '' Zorro, The Gay Blade'' (1981). Other film roles included Cameahwait in ''The Far Horizons'' (1955), Señor Dominguez in ''Of Love and Desire'' (1963), and Inspector Talmadge in ''Tarzan and the Valley of Gold'' (1966). Noriega also appeared in several television productions, such as ''La esposa virgen'' and ''Entre el amor y el odio''. Family He was married twice. He had four children with his first wife: Eduardo, Ricardo, Esteban and Laura. Ricardo followed in his father's footsteps and went into acting. His son, Esteban, preceded him in death. ''Captain Scarlett'' is a 1953 American adventure film directed by Thomas Carr (director), Thomas Carr, that was shot in Mexico. The film is set in France following the fall of Napoleon, stars Richard Greene in the title role as a Robin Hood-type avenger and the Brazilian actress Leonora Amar in her final screen role. Plot In post-Napoleonic France, the Duke of Corlaine reprimands Count Villiers because his Spanish fiancée, Princess Maria, has run away. When Maria's carriage is accosted by highwaymen, Captain Scarlett, a Frenchman returning from England, fends off the attackers. Villiers arrives shortly after and arrests the remaining highwayman, but is ungrateful to Scarlett. ''The Beast of Hollow Mountain'' is a 1956 Weird West horror film about an American rancher living in Mexico who discovers that his missing cattle are being preyed upon by a dinosaur. Plot In southern Mexico at the turn of the 20th century, tales are told of cattle and farmers mysteriously disappearing. These events occur at a location called "Hollow Mountain" where a curse is supposed to be residing.
