Azabache
''Azabache'' (Spanish: "jet (lignite)") is the third studio album by Spanish singer Marta Sánchez. This was released in 1997. On this album more producers were involved (Andres Levin, Nile Rodgers, Camus Celli, Robyn Smith and Stephen Budd) along with longtime musical partner Christian De Walden. They created a rock oriented album, instead of the pop music Marta recorded for her first and second albums. Critical reactions were mostly positive. The first single " Moja Mi Corazón", features guitar player Slash and was produced by Nile Rodgers. The album yielded five singles: "Negro Azabache", " Algo Tienes", "Ya Ves" and "Amor Perdido". While promoting this album, Marta recorded along with opera singer Andrea Bocelli the song " Vivo por Ella", which became a worldwide smash hit and was later included on the international pressings of "Azabache". Marta Sánchez López (born 8 May 1966) is a Spanish singer. She has sold in excess of 10 million albums. Biography Marta was born in Madrid (Spain). Her father, Antonio Sánchez Camporro, was an Asturian opera singer. She began her musical career with the band Cristal Oskuro, but shortly after she was discovered by Tino Azores, a sound technician for the popular pop/rock group Olé Olé. In 1985, Marta became the band's lead singer replacing Vicky Larraz, which brought her to fame and made her one of the biggest sex symbols of the 1980s in Spain, during a time when the country was easing the traditional rigid moral values of Catholicism. ''Desconocida'' (Eng.: ''Unknown'' or ''Stranger'') is the title of the fourth studio album by Spanish singer Marta Sanchez (in 1998). With this album, Marta returned to the pop music on her first albums, but now with a more Italian feel. The album was produced once again by Christian De Walden and a few Italian co-producers. The singles were "Quiero Mas de Ti", "Desconocida", "Los Mejores Años de Nuestra Vida", "Estrellas de Fuego" and "Loca de Amor". Fernando Osorio is a singer-songwriter, born in Bogotá, Colombia, and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. Early life At age seven, Osorio played the cuatro, violin, flute and viola in Emil Friedman school. Career In 1982, while being a member of the choir of his church in Caracas, met Juan Carlos Perez and formed the duo Fernando y Juan Carlos. They recorded in 1985 their first album, which was only released in Venezuela. Osorio also has had combined a parallel career as a songwriter.
