Ayta Sözeri (born 31 March 1976) is a Turkish people, Turkish actress, singer and LGBT activist. Biography Sözeri was born on 31 March 1976 in West Germany. Her mother was of Circassians, Circassian descent. Her family settled in İzmir in 1982 and she underwent sex reassignment surgery at the age of 20. She graduated from the Ege University Business Administration Department and took Turkish classical music at Dokuz Eylül University. Later she started performing as a backing vocalist for a number of artists, including Sezen Aksu. ''Aile Arasında'' (''Between Family'') is a Turkish comedy film directed by Ozan Açıktan and written by Gülse Birsel. It stars Engin Günaydın, Demet Evgar, Erdal Özyağcılar, Devrim Yakut, Fatih Artman, Şevket Çoruh, Gülse Birsel, Derya Karadaş, Su Kutlu and Ayta Sözeri. It was released on 1 December 2017. Plot Singer Solmaz and shopkeeper Fikret ("Fiko") have both just gotten out of 21-year relationships. Solmaz's has been dumped by her boyfriend (and the father of her daughter) and Fiko by his wife, who kicks him out. The two meet and Solmaz tells Fiko he can stay at her house until he gets back on his feet. At the same time, Solmaz's daughter Zeynep, a college student, gets engaged to her boyfriend Emirhan, but doesn't want his traditional, conservative family to find out her parents are unmarried and her father is gone. ''Acayip Hikayeler'' (''Strange Stories'') is a fantastic-fiction TV show which is adapted from Galip Tekin's comics. Its first episode was aired on 13 April 2013 on Star TV. Hayko Cepkin narrates every episode and every episode the cast and plot changes. Every episode begins and ends with Hayko Cepkin's "judgment". In starting ''judgment'' Hayko Cepkin implies what is the story about and in ending ''judgement'' he simply tells the moral of the story and sometimes gives advice.
