Acayip Hikayeler
''Acayip Hikayeler'' (''Strange Stories'') is a fantastic-fiction TV show which is adapted from Galip Tekin's comics. Its first episode was aired on 13 April 2013 on Star TV. Hayko Cepkin narrates every episode and every episode the cast and plot changes. Every episode begins and ends with Hayko Cepkin's "judgment". In starting ''judgment'' Hayko Cepkin implies what is the story about and in ending ''judgement'' he simply tells the moral of the story and sometimes gives advice. The show's 11th and last episode was aired on 22 June 2012 AS "season final" but later Star TV announced this was the final episode and removed from air. Galip Tekin
Galip Tekin (20 April 1958 – 6 July 2017) was a Turkish comic book artist, cartoonist and screenwriter. He was known for his works in the fantasy and science fiction genres. His style is often compared to that of Jean "Mœbius" Giraud. Biography Tekin started his comics career in ''Gırgır'' magazine in 1978. The following year, he dropped out of Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts to pursue a career in ''Gırgır''. Throughout the 1980s, he published comics and comic strips in ''Gırgır'' and ''Fırt'', as well as in '' Günaydın'' newspaper. In May 1989, he became the chief editor of the newly founded ''Dıgıl'' magazine. In 1990s, Tekin worked in various humor magazines, including ''Hıbır'', ''Fırfır'', ''Leman'', ''Limon'' and ''L-Manyak''. In 1994, he published his best-known comic series, ''Pı'ya Mektuplar''. Star TV is a Turkish nationwide TV channel. It has been owned by Ferit Şahenk's Doğuş Media Group since 2011. History Founded by Cem Uzan and Ahmet Özal in 1989 as Magic Box, Star TV is Turkey's first private TV channel. The channel started its test broadcasting on 5 May 1990.
