Ayatollah Abdul Rahman Heidari Ilami
Ayatollah Abdul Rahman Heidari Ilami (1925 - 1 January 1987) ( fa, آیت الله عبدالرحمن حیدری ایلامی) was an Iranian-Kurdish Muslim scholar and member of the first term of the Assembly of Experts in Iran. He organised popular resistance to Iraq's invasion of Iran. Ayatollah Heidari was a representative of Ayatollah Khomeini in Ilam Province in the Assembly of Experts. He established himself as a conservative thinker with his comments regarding the rule of the supreme leader and statements generally against liberal ideology. Heidari died in 1986. His body was buried near the shrine of Fātimah bint Mūsā. Ayatollah ( ; fa, آیتالله, āyatollāh) is an Title of honor, honorific title for high-ranking Twelver Shia clergy in Iran and Iraq that came into widespread usage in the 20th century. Etymology The title is originally derived from Arabic word pre-modified with the definite article and Grammatical modifier#Premodifiers and postmodifiers, post-modified with the word ''Allah'', making ( ar, آية الله). The combination has been translated to English as 'Sign of God', 'Divine Sign' or 'Reflection of God'. It is a frequently-used term in Quran, but its usage in this context is presumably a particular reference to the verse "We shall show them Our signs on the horizons and in their own selves", while it has been also used to refer to The Twelve Imams by Shias. Ruhollah Khomeini, Ayatollah Khomeini, Imam Khomeini ( , ; ; 17 May 1900 – 3 June 1989) was an Iranian political and religious leader who served as the first supreme leader of Iran from 1979 until his death in 1989. He was the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the leader of the 1979 Iranian Revolution, which saw the overthrow of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and the end of the Persian monarchy. Following the revolution, Khomeini became the country's first supreme leader, a position created in the constitution of the Islamic Republic as the highest-ranking political and religious authority of the nation, which he held until his death. Fatima bint Musa ( ar, فَاطِمَة بِنْت مُوسَىٰ, '; born 1st Dhu al-Qadah 173 AH – 10th or 12th of Rabi' al-Thani 201 AH; approximately March 22, 790 AD – November 7 or 9, 816 AD), commonly known as Fatima al-Ma'suma ( ar, فَاطِمَة ٱلْمَعْصُومَة, ') was the daughter of the seventh Twelver Shia Imam, Musa al-Kazim and sister of the eighth Twelver Shia Imams, Ali al-Rida. Every year, millions of Shia Muslims travel to Qom to honor Fatima al-Ma'suma at her shrine. Ghorbanali Dorri-Najafabadi
Ghorbanali Dorri-Najafabadi ( fa, قربانعلی دری نجفآبادی; born 3 December 1950) is an Iranian politician and cleric. He is currently a member of the Assembly of Experts and also a member of the Expediency Discernment Council. He was previously the Minister of Intelligence of Islamic Republic of Iran. Career Dorri-Najafabadi was the minister of intelligence in the cabinet of then president Mohammad Khatami. During his term of ministership, some journalists and reformist politicians were murdered by security agents, for which the Iranian government later charged his deputy, Saeed Emami, with orchestrating, claiming he had organized them independently.
